Also, hello. This is my first post...

Welcome! Are you new to collecting, or is this just your first time on this forum? Also to share my opinion on the autobot repaints, I think I'll get the limb bots but not white optimus, the combiner wars molds are awesome and I can't wait to see how they look as classic autobots.

Thanks. I've been collecting for a little bit, kinda started with the classics line in '08, bu didn't get big into it until '12 when I realized the classics line continued in Universe and Generations. Been perusing the forums since last year and finally decided to join.

My two cents on the Autobot Repaints: I say bring 'em on. Hell, I'd be cool if they did the entire G1-iverse in the CW style.

Nah, it happens. Not your fault at all. :D Welcome!

I've been wanting to get some of these for my son's birthday in a couple of weeks. However, there still appears to be no Wave 2 Deluxe in MN... :-s

That now definitely looks like Streetwise's front end below the right knee

As others have said already, welcome!

I've heard a lot of "without extensive retooling they won't be G1 enough" but I could really care less. I more than willing to make certain concessions, hell I'm happy with a simple repaint and new head :P

It also definitely helps that the Combiner War molds are absolutely awesome! My only concern might be accessories, (I'd prefer Ironhide to have a gun rather than an axe) but that's an easy fix.

Welcome MelRains, don't mind the bolts we have running around. We used to have a nuts problem, so we called in some bolts. Bad Idea...

To me, the Autobot retools should not be "G1", more like temporary alternate bodies.

I collect a lot of G1, it will always be my pride and joy, but I can see the flaws in the design and engineering too, si as much as it pains me to say, to make them more G1 you'd also have to lock a bunch of the elbows, knees and ankles to remove all that G1 inaccurate articulation.

So that's why I always get this allergic reaction when opening the website.

Weird, we got rid of the nut infestation long ago. Now we have a bolt problem.

Wow. And just last week the site was claiming that Prowl was going to be a redeco of Off Road..... >:oP

I don't trust any rumors until they are officially announced. And this is why.

peaces is wrong, they are out. Saw some in a local Toys R Us Saturday (5/9), that Toys R Us also moved & crammed all their transformers stuff together, poorly, looks like to make room for 'Jurassic World' toys. It looks dumb to have Windblade and Crosscut sitting on a shelf instead of on a peg.

Design sketches from the First Aid comic showed a Prowl- or Ratchet-like head (only the crest is clearly visible, which both characters had):

...on the First Aid version of the mold. Could be Prowl, could be Ratchet (with Ironhide coming from the Offroad version, I suspect the latter). Point is, rumors can change when more solid information is available. And the site does not take them as fact at all.

Why not? Unlike his G1 self, CW dragstrip does not have the 6 wheels making his alt mode more in line with Mirage's.

And last time we just got a redeco and it worked out great, now we'll have a different head to differentiate them even more :)

Generations Mirage was the one worst TFG toys ever. CW Dragstrip is a million times better.

But reportedly Drag Strip was carried over into the Wave 2 assortment. Yes, some figures are shipping in more than one wave.
