Thanks man, for the zip file! I never knew so many G1 Kabaya figures existed back in the 80s. These pics will be great for my future references. ;)^

Thanks for sharing this, however, I'm not going to open a .zip.exe type file. Could you post the images to an image hosting site, such as imgur or somewhere like that?

I have seen these Kabaya things on these boards and sold on some sites, what are they exactly?

I have read they are gum kits, but I'm not exactly sure what that means?

Technically speaking, Kabaya is a candy manufacturer, producing gum, chocolate and the like. Taste is nothing to write home about though. But what they're better known for are their snap-together model kits, similar to those in Arms Micron. And because they're a candy company and not a toy company, they bypass certain taxes. Similar series are Super Sentai Minipla, and Gundam Gunpla.

The Transformers kits are simplified versions of the bigger toys, and they do transform, but sometimes they do resort to parts-forming. Kabaya has a whole range of other series, including Yuusha(Brave series), HoneHonesaurus (a series of transforming dinosaur skeletons), Shoesroid (transforming shoes) and other odds and ends.

If you click on the large Green Download button, you will get the EXE file. You're supposed to click on the little text that said Direct Download Link. Anyhow, here's the direct zip link:

(btw, I scanned it, no virus if that helps...)
