I recently aquired bb and ran into a problem; the holes that you insert his mirrors into have a joint pin inside as well. Takara pushed the pin way too far to one side so only one mirror had room to be installed. I tried pushing the pin back the other way gently but it won't budge and I'm afraid to push any harder for fear of breaking bbs canopy. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

He's only made to have one mirror, like the car he's based on. I freely admit I thought this was a problem too when I first got mine!

Consider the others spare parts in case you loose one.

The mirrors a very prone to breakage so Takara includes an extra. Wheeljack comes with two sets and mine already have stress marks on the set I have displayed on the figure.

If you examine BB's mirrors under a microscope you'll see that they're both left mirrors, not a pair. I've heard of a few people making this mistake, luckily I heard about it before I got mine.

Don't worry about damage done, someone actually managed to push the pin in far enough to install both mirrors and nothing broke.

I totally never would've considered he would only have one mirror! Awesome I'm glad you guys pointed that out it was driving me nuts!

Quite common for older cars to only have the one wing mirror, roads were less congested, there was less overtaking. People would view a car actually having a wing mirror as a bit of a luxury. All you got as standard with the car was internal rear view mirror, safety kit was extra!!
