It appears to be one huge Ultra Magnus coming in at 6 pounds and 24"x24"x24" with almost $20 in shipping!

The package is, which would be a tad bigger than the MP-04 package. I am so close to ordering one but I can't bring myself to click that button.

yeah i'm not gonna until i hear a little more about it. i saw in the other thread you do a little boxing a jui-jitsu. i've been doing brazilian jui-jitsu for over 2 years now. do you do bjj also or japanese?

The picture's definately a G1 Magnus rather than a variation on the Masterpiece. If it was a new release we'd of heard about it somewhere other than Walmart having it in stock. If it's not a hoax could it be overstock of the TRU Magnus from a couple of years back? It's a little hard to tell but it looks like a rubber tyre version rather than the solid wheels on the later G1s. Which wheel type have recent reissues come with?

Hmm...if that's the case I'll just return it to the store and get my money back, since the TRU reissue is only going for $50 on ebay.

No way that is the TRU re-issue Ultra Magnus, the size and shipping cost are to big and high.

Doesnt the MP Magnus have some sort of Cardboard trailer? This one looks like its fully plastic, at least most of it. Is this the MP version?

Well I went ahead and bought it. I really really really really hope it's a MP version. Shipping says I get it sometime next week, if so, you will all see a review.
In the meantime, if anyone knows what version this is, please post.
Either way, I'll find out, and possibly return at store...

yeah if it is the reissue there must be a **** load of packaging for it to weigh that much. but if it's a MP the G1 "hand" holes don't make much sense. unless it is just a place holder picture.
