Seems like no instruction manual with clipped out robot point.

Is this for real?

I've seen a MIB Big Powered set at a store for €1,000 (or $1,120), and that set is already rare enough. Using that as a standard, I say: no. [-(

May just be sticking it out there to field offers. For instance - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blue-Bacchus-Ja ... 1415619754

The best offer was probably way way lower.

After 2 attempts, it's been taken down. Too greedy? Or desperate?

Yowza! My wife would string me up and beat me with a mop (a dirty mop) if I ever paid that much for 1 figure.

Probably ran into a case where it was actually going to cost money to list it, so they stopped. They don't always let you list free!

 I'd have a hard time paying $200 for this toy.

With 3rd parties creating fully articulated update toys that HasTak probably won't. Would rather play the 3rd party waiting game.

Not even remotely related to this thread. G1 collecting on that level isn't about the toy itself but rather having what others wish they could.

Another ebay auction of MH, loose no box

One vendor but he/she separated the parts as:

1. "Hawk" shell
2. "Hawk" helmet
3. Metalhawk jet with none of the twin wing blasters ( $ 425.00 )

The 1st 2 items seems to have been purchased or pulled out but I totaled what the vendor wanted and it reached almost $ 1000.00

Horrible business. Never buy incomplete stuff. Ever.

Frankly, anything I buy no one else can have, because it's mine. If someone else has it, I want it back.

For a select few, probably. For most that are into JP G1, it's not, but I can't tell if you're serious so I'll keep this post short.

This was a couple years back in Amsterdam, at an import store called "A Space Oddity". It doesn't stock as many vintage Japanese figures as it used to, but it has a few gems if you look hard enough.
