Hey all,

Any word if we're getting a US Optimus Primal reissue? I really want to add one to my collection, but am hoping to avoid the high price tag of the Takara Legends 02 version.

None are in the works unfortunately. Legends Optimus Primal was merely a companion piece for Rattrap, that the only reason why he was in the line I would think.

Fortunately, there are other options, like the Beast Wars Reborn version, the identical 10th Anniversary reissue (not the Deluxe one), the Telemocha DX one without all the retooling, or you could look into the Deluxe-sized Robot Masters version, plus its Telemocha repaint.

What's the feeling on Legends Primal? Is he worth the $70 or so it would cost from BBTS? It looks more show accurate than any other Primal to my eyes...

The deco is great but its the same mold, so the same toy fom the 90s. So it's up to you if it's worth it.

I'd look for the 10th Anniversary retool on EBay first and compare prices. That one is show-accurate enough as it is.
