has anyone of you ever giving up transforming a difficult figure?

i guess you have to be a tard or something if you give up so easily such as transforming a figure, i would be piss off if i can't transform it back to either robot or alternate mode. i hate to see my figure as a train-wreck pile of mess.

I ruined my Bumblebee movie figure because it was jammed. Thanks to Hasbro i had to shell out another 9 bucks to buy a new one. I never give up transforming them but at the price of destroying them, Thats where i draw the line.

I am too cool to be stopped by a lump of plastic/metal!

There's no figure in my collection I can't transform.

Heck, I only use instructions for MP and Alts, to avoid scratching them!

Although, Alt Wheeljack gave me more hassle than most figures have given me.

I always use instructions because I'm a wuss and scared of breaking them!

I nearly gave up on Robot Masters Smokesniper, even with the instructions his transformation was close to impossible, since one stage of it involves basically snapping him in half. Well, almost...

Movie Ironhide. I managed to transform his torso and his legs, but snapping those two sections together was just impossible.

The only figurre i had to put down, without transforming him back into Alt mode was Alt Grimlock. I was about to throw him against a wall. But i decided to put him down, and do something else for a while. I then went back and managed to put him back into car mode. Had to snap off his forearms, but he got back into Mustang mode.

But I was this close to just throwing him at the wall hoping he'd smash into tiny little bits.

which figures are a pain in the ass to transform besides mp-megatron, and take hour(s) each time. i have to say my binatech smokescreen gt always take me nearly an hour just to connect the body to places, cuz i'm too scare to break a 93 bucks takara figure!!!!

I usually use instructions for my Alts/BT's too. Pretty much for the same reason for fear of breakage. I don't think I have any of them really memorized, but I'm pretty sure that I can do the Vette mold and RX-7 mold just by fidgeting with them. I know that they are the ones that I have transformed the most. I've never transformed BT Smokescreen back to his car mode yet, and I got him when he first came out. I hear that his legs can give headaches.

I wont use instruction unless something feels jammed or im not bending it the right way. If that happens then i will use directions, I am also very carefull because i fear that i will break them.

Yeah I know what you mean, sometimes you get that urge and you just have to transform something but you don't know what cuz you don't want to break anything or add wear to the joints. I've gone so far as to consider buying two of every action figure, one to display and the other to transform, but I'm pretty broke as it is. Maybe down the line if the movie figures go on sale I might get a second Ironhide and Blackout.

Universe Nemesis Prime gave me a hard time... but I never gave up!

I'll just never transform him ever again now that I finally have him in bot mode...

And Altertron is thinking up alot of interesting topics today, nice work.

Skills.

I have never tried transforming MP Megatron, but I only cared about the robot mode anyway. I just feared breaking/scratching him.

Better safe than sorry!

The only one I've never been able to transform back to car mode is Alt Prowl. I can't figure that fellow out.

I kept Universe Nemesis Prime in robot mode for a very long time before attempting to Transform him. Transformed him, left him as a Mammoth for 5 minutes, put him back in robot mode, and thats how he has stayed since.

MP02 Magnus wasn't transformed for ages, he had (and still has) issues with his leg sliding up, took him apart, kinda fixed it, and has only been transformed a few times.

Ive never had a Transformer that is physically able to be transform, that has not been transformed.

It took months to figure out how to get the beetle
from Tripredicus back to it's beetle form after having
it combined for a long time.
I refused to use directions and would just look at it in disgust. One day I just figured it out.

Energon Slugslinger, though its more from it feeling like it could fall apart everytime I try to transform it than me actually trying hard to transform it back to jet mode.

I could walk into my room right now and transform any of my figures, the longest any will take me is 10 minutes (MP Megs, and only on account of caution)

believe it or not my leader class movie prime i had to cheat with. he was like my 3rd tf figure in about 12 years and for the life of me the instructions on how is crotch unsnaps and needs to be moved were the most confusings things i'd seen in ages.. after about an hour literally with that thing i had to get on collectiondx to watch the review..

Alt wheeljack made me angry, to the point where i started to swear. Never thought that would happen! He arrived partly transformed (ebay), so i wasnt sure what had been done allready or not.. lol
