I see that the new pics of Combiner Wars Hot Spot that his head is blue. From his last appearance on MTMTE his color on his head is black. If i'm correct, his head color was G1 cartoon accurate blue head from the earlier MTMTE comics. Maybe it'll change in the Combiner Wars comics. Kinda bothers me when they kinda don't stick with the script when I want the buy the toys for some reason. I was thinking the toy would look better with the black head. Isn't the Hot Spot toy suppose to be comic accurate right?

I was always under the impression that the Generations line were supposed to be IDW accurate.
Head-canon, though, I like Hot Spot's head black, like every toy ever.

WGAS, I am just glad they are giving us Hot Spot.

I'm guessing the idea was for him to be show accurate, and accurate to the g1 comic where he always appeared with the blue head.

Outside of the G1 toy, GDO hotspot and his recent MTME appearances his Blue head has had the most exposure. I suppose they were going for the idealised version of the character across all continuities.
