Deluxe Brawl=Major Dissapointment

Went out yesterday, and picked up Voayger Ratchet, and Deluxe Brawl.
Haven't had a chance to open Ratchet, but man was Brawl a Disappointment.
He looked so cool in the pictures, and in real life his arms don't connect to his chest. he can't stay together in robot mode. his arm cannon is just to heavy for his dinky little arm. All around disappointment from him. The only good thing is his alt mode. Really Cool Tank mode. If only his arms stayed connected to his chest, I'd be happy. As it is $18.50 retail price at the Wal-Mart near me is just to much to pay for this guy.
I hope Ratchet turns out better than Brawl.
Sorry just had to vent.

Some people have said that applying a layer of clear nail polish on the peg which goes into his shoulders will keep his arms in place.

Put some clear nail polish on the pegs that hold his shoulders to his torso, that oughtta clear that problem right up.
I did it to mine and I love him! I think he's my second-favorite movie fig, after Ratchet.

You're welcome.

Yup, just put one coat on the peg/tab thing, and let it dry before sticking it in the hole. It should tighten it enough that his arms won't come loose every single time to move and/or look at him.

My arms dont mind slotting into their pegs, but any movement, even trying to twist his claw around manages to dislodge them.
Does the Nail Polish help with that situation at all?

I tried the clear nail polish. And it worked for his right arm (Claw) but I think the left arm cannon is just to heavy. Maybe an additional coat can get it to fit snugly in the hole.

Yep, if it's still loose, another coat should work.
i_amtrunks, it should help a lot, it did for my Brawl.

Mine's just rubbish. I've tried everything listed but he still doesn't transform properly. He is stuck in tank mode at the moment(not a problem, I think he is massivly hideous in robot mode, and I love the modified M1A1/2). His back shell in robot mode dosen't stay in place (infact the his shoulders are too big to allow it to even fit), his arms will not fit into their place properly (they get stuck scratching his rear) and in tank mode the front right track doesn't go down properly, the right trackguard (leg cover) doesn't stay in place (with out blue tack) and the main turret doesn't stay down.
But, I still think I got a bargain, e-bay for £7.50 (£10.00 including postage).

I just straight up don't like the figure.
- The tank is badass, but you can't really pose the turret, which sucks.
- The plastic feels so KO.
- The weapons are pretty lame, in my opinion. The cannon wobbles too much and the shoulder turrets just look weird, but at least the rape-blade/minigun is kinda cool.
- I don't like how he has such a big backpack
- The arms not fitting in, though easily fixed, is still annoying
If you like tanks, then maybe you'll enjoy him, but personally I prefer my G2 Hero Megs that I repainted and modified as G1 Megatron.

I just close the small doors on the turret under the part that is supposed to peg in the chest and it helps hold it in place better than nothing. Try it if you don't want to go the nail polish route.

I tried that door-closing idea. It didn't do slag...

Yeah that was also my first dissapointement when I transformed him but I hope that the leader version doesn't have that problem.

On both of the ones I got, returned both, one of the two gun/turret things on his back wwould always come off when you barely tap it or just pop off itself...

He looks a lot better once you realize that Hasbro omitted a step from the instructions: the parts on the back of his legs can pivot back a little, providing greater stability for the figure as well as looking better.

Wow this thread was plucked from the Dark ages!!!
Personally I now prefer my FAB Brawl to the Deluxe, even though both have their faults.
