Got these guys recently -- very cool.

For anyone who has them, have you had any difficulty getting Optimus into PS mode? Both figures require a lot of precision transforming, but whereas my Megatron came together cleanly, I can't quite push the lower half of Optimus flush with the upper. When I do, it feels like something's resisting it and at risk of breaking. Anyone else find this? Maybe I'm missing some small detail of transformation...

Couldnt tell ya, I only have Genesis Megatron, and I do mean Genesis not Mega Drive. Really do like Megs, but i wish his ankles were a little tighter

Yeah, he is a really fun figure. I prefer his alt mode, but Optimus looks a bit sharper in 'bot mode. Still, two great figures. I love the weird toys that find their way out of Japan!
