Best Soundwave for a generations collection

I need some advice on what would be the best Soundwave to round out my generations collection.

I'm not really too keen on the FOC/WFC versions so I am limited to either the music label, the classics/G1 version that came out at the start of the classics line, or the Titanium version that doesn't stand up properly.

I guess I am just asking what others are using as their's?

The only other thing I can think of is just customize my own along the lines of this with some custom Soundwave type weapons

That's a fairly expensive / hard to find figure to use as a donor for a custom soundwave.

I find Music Label Soundwave to be the perfect Generations Soundwave. Though expensive and probably hard to find these days, he's about as G1 as it gets for the character, if you can overlook the fact that his chest can't hold minions.

In and of himself, he's got good articulation and proportions and looks good in most poses.

I just found one now for NZD $26 (USD $19) without shipping. I'm not sure if you consider that expensive but it might be more hassle than what its worth.

Music label Soundwave, the spark blue version might be a go I think. I have found one here in New Zealand for NZD $100 (USD $73). NZD $200 if I get Him and the device label Blaster

The chest door gimmick I am not worried about too much really.

I was trying to look for something that is going to scale kind of well and have an update but I might just have to stick with the device label one for now.

Unfortunately, Soundwave hasn't had many toys (classics and universe both only had re-issues of the g1 version). I know that WFC and FOC both got Soundwave figures (Deluxe class and voyager class, respectively), but I didn't really look into those, but I think those might be your cheapest options.

My collection is pretty much entirely generations, but I picked up a G1 soundblaster re-issue on a whim at a comic convention. The figure (though boxy) is really fun and fits in pretty well with other generations stuff. Hope that helps.

Yeah I didn't really go for the FOC/WFC Soundwaves the werent really part of the generations line in my point of view.

Thanks for the help. Any advice is good advice I reckon so its helped me make a decision. If I go for the music label one I might get the reprolabels for it too.
