Note that the Menasor (minus Wildrider) is the Hasbro version (it says so in the text in the magazine).

Planet Iacon's facebook page posted pictures of scans from the Hobby Magazine Figure King. They feature Transformers products that will be released in Japan.

While the scans (mirrored below), show a new colored image for Track's alt mode, new pictures for Transformers Adventures Nemesis Prime (Ultra Magnus is also there), the big news here is an image of Hasbro's Menasor with a different leg. As can be seen in this small picture, the bottom leg has a dark coloured car instead of the newly created character Offroad. This would be Wildrider, which had been predicted since this is similar to the Superion release which has Slingshot instead of Alpha Bravo. While it is unsure if we are looking at a finished product of a prototype, it appears that the mold that is being used for Wildrider is the Dead End mold.

For those who want to join the many discussions related to these products, you can click on the following links to bring you to the one you want:

So glad Takara decided to give us Wildrider in place of the out of scale truck Off-road. I think I'll get this gift-set since the Stunticons were the only other Combiner team I didn't have as a kid. I never had the Technobots either, but I'll pass on them again. Buying characters that debuted after 1984 brings back bad childhood memories of how Transformers got ruined forever.

I think our excitement for these new toys and their existence is proof that Transformers have not been completely ruined.

I like the new characters. I wouldn't mind getting the originals eventually to switch it up but, threes something slavish about Takara's insistence to keep doing this. .

It seems to me like a Breakdown repaint, not sure if I like him enough... I'll wait until I see a robot mode picture to see if the retooling is cool enough

The Special Teams weren't 1984. If you're going to be so ridiculously contrarian, at least be consistent about it.

I am kinda hoping that Hasbro releases Wildrider and Slingshot in The US, as well as some other mold reuses so Ultra Prime or Galvatronus can have their own set of limbs without poaching from Superion or Menasor. Don't get me wrong, I love Alpha Bravo(the Aerialbots do need a helicopter IMO) and will probably like Off-road well enough, but having the original teammates would also be good. If we don't get them, I would still be fine.

I know who debuted when and I also know they were not called "special teams" where I'm from. The Stunticons debuted in November of '85. But who knows when they debuted for you late comers in the "special teams" crowd. Fans like me made Transformers popular, people like you just hopped on the bandwagon!

To clarify what I said earlier....
I meant I don't buy too many characters who didn't appear in G1 season 1. I didn't say the Stunticons debuted in '84. When I do buy toys based on season 2 and 3, they usually wind up in my son's toy box.

Wildrider seems more Breakdown-y than Dead End-y, but I'll wait until we see clearer images. In any case, it might be what the rumored Hasbro version will end up being, similarly to Slingshot.

Freedom to be whatever you want to be is the RIGHT of all Sentient Beings. >:oP I would like to take issue with a statement you made about hopping on the bandwagon. Kind of an elitist mindset there  this is a bit of a turn off!

So Takara is doing the same Alpha-Bravo / Slingshot thing with the Stunticons. Hopefully the new 2 characters will also be available solo. An extra limb for both teams would be cool :)

I agree and it goes with the idea of people making their own combiner. Plus it's good business.

I might have thought so too, but then... ↓ Nope, feels pretty accurate.

That's the thing, we have the listings, but that's no real confirmation. We'll have to wait until they announce next year's product which may happen at either BotCon or SDCC.

By the by, given Slingshot and Wildrider are straight redecos with a new head, how many are hoping Hasbro will go the extra mile and make new Vehicle Mode parts for their versions? I find the fact we have two of the exact same vehicle on Superion and Menasor kind of jarring.

I doubt they will honestly. They may figure that if fans will buy Takaras version at essentially double the price, why should they put any more money in it.
I like that optimism though. I hope they do go that extra mile.
