Effectiveness and Durability of Device label Blaster

I have found that, as my desk gets more and more cluttered, a USB hub stationed in one place on my desk would be ideal. I have been considering getting a Device Label Blaster for a long while, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight into his practical functions as a USB hub. Has anyone been using him regularly for said function?

While I do not own one myself, if i remember correctly, the biggest problem was that his electronics were outdated upon his release.
I.E. I believe he has a 1.0 USB which will considerably slow you down speed wise.
Aesthetically, i find him to be a pleasing update of a character with an alt mode that is a bit outdated.
If you find him at a good price, I say go for it.
However, a lot of sellers still want to unload him at a higher price point, so choose wisely.
Good luck with him regardless.

What would you say is a good price for him?

For the sake of owning Broadcast, maybe $80 max. As Tri mentioned, get him for an updated Broadcast and not as a USB hub. Iirc, there were said to be issues too with his power system. Tomy delayed the release to fix it ( the wiring being too shortor something)

i have seen him range from 50 to 90ish depending on sellers back stock and country of origin.
I usually use Shmax to give a general ballpark price and the listing they have seems to line up with what i had seen personally.

While I think he is a cool ass concept, cool enough for Renderform to make an upgrade kit for him, i don't know if fiscally he is worth it.
If you can get a good deal with discounted shipping, go for it.
Or as a random table find at a local con.

Regardless, good luck in your hunt.

Thanks for the feedback. Disappointed to hear he isn't viable as a USB hub though :(
