Well, it all depends on what you want it to do.
The original is nice and solid, the flip out blades are a bit annoying, though.
The HFTD battle damaged one was neat because it featured his full face for the first time in Leader Class, but the apps were ugly.
The Buster is probably the most appealing, visually. All the flames are pinstriped, there's metallic silver paint and a ton of chrome. The chrome is also it's biggest problem, too, because it'll chip and wear out in time. The one neat thing about this version is that the gas tanks combine to form a blaster.
The Striker is the odd one, it's all darker colors, but comes with a ton of accessories based off of a planned design that never made it to the final film. Optimus was supposed to come with the ability to have Mech Tech weaponry and transformations like Bumblebee and Sideswipe did in DOTM. The shield and extra guns would attach all over his cab in various spots to make him look like something out of Mad Max.
Then there's Jetwing Optimus, the robot is based off of the Buster mold, but features none of it's paint work and has an additional modification done on the backpack to allow the Jetwing to secure itself to him.
Then, from Hasbro Asia, there's an Ultimate Optimus set where you get the Jetwing, all of the Striker bits and a Buster Optimus. (it currently retails for about $250-270.00)
I have the original and the Jetwing. I have no desire to keep two of the same mold anymore, so if you're interested I'll sell you my extra if you're interested. You can PM me for more info if you'd like.
