Combiner Wars/Generations at your local stores

What's everyone finding at their local retailers? (I know there's a board for this, but I just want to know about general availability, not specific sightings.)
I'm in the US, eastern PA, and all the local stores have the Wave 1 Combiner Wars Deluxes, but I've yet to see a single Combiner Wars Voyager (which makes me think Hasbro has not explained the Combiner Wars concept to retailers).
I've also seen the Combiner Wars Legends (Powerglide, Blackjack, etc.) in most local stores.
But I also have NOT seen either version of Leader Megatron anywhere.

Here in the Netherlands it's pretty spotty, really. It mainly depends on the room any particular store has set aside. If there's no space, no CW figures. As a whole, I've found all of Wave 1 except for Leader (with Optimus Prime being the latest sighting), but the distribution among the stores themselves depends on luck. Most only have one or two per size Class on the shelf, usually doubles to boot. For instance, my local store has 3(!)Windchargers, 1 Powerglide, and 2 Alpha Bravos, a Silverbolt and an Optimus Prime, whereas one in Rotterdam has the entire Deluxe Case on the shelf and a single Bombshell.

I'm on the other side of the Mason-Dixon line from you GuyIncognito. Whirl and Rhinox seem to be doing a lot of shelfwarming down here (when they have them). I've seen CW Silverbolt and Optimus down here and the arialbots+dragstrip randomly when stores have them. I've been grabing anything I see that's on my want list anytime I see it in-store. All the AoE stuff really needs to go to clearance to make room for the new stuff coming out.

Combiner War toys have been out for a while. It shouldn't be long before your retail stores get them. My TRU just got their voyagers last week

I have seen the Wave 1 Deluxes, Wave 1 and Wave 2 Legends, CW Optimus Prime, and the Megatrons.

I'm in Central New York State. Seen wave 1 deluxes, legends, and voyagers but no leaders.

These Combiners Wars toys are very hard to find in stock at my Kmart, Walmart and Target stores. When they come in stock they come in low number and sell out quick. See more CW legends, Less CW Deluxes and Less CW Voyagers. Have not yet seen the CW leader class toys.
Think my areas stores have a scalpers infestation. Think most of the store employee workers are scalpers. Don't even think the newer CW toys make it to the shelves. Think the store employee scalpers hide the CW toys in the back then buy them when pay day comes.
Simply do not have the time or energy to beat the scalpers to the stores. Can't afford to go to these stores early or late when the toys get stocked.

Notice I have no problem seeing all the newer Transformers toys the scalpers in my area are not interested in. Like the Rescue bots toys and the RID2015 toys.
Think the RID2015 TF toys are being higher units stocked in stores compared to the lower units stocked CW toys.
Some are blaming the Five plus months Doc strikes in the West coast America. For the empty TF toy stores aisles. With the strike over maybe well see TF toy store aisles filled back up.
I've given up on finding newer Transformers toys in stores. Too much time and Gas wasted. Coming home with nothing is also a disappointment. Rather buy online and avoid the Scalpers and empty TF toys stores aisles.

Here's one thing I suspect is a problem, at least at Target: The new Combiner Wars Voyagers have the same DPCI code as the previous waves of Generations Voyagers. So if they do inventory and they've got shelves full of old Generations Voyagers, they're not going to "reorder" that product (or bring them out from the store room in the back).
I just got a coupon in the mail from TRU for 20% off one item, so hope they get some Leaders soon!

Here in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, we've got Wave 1 deluxes and Wave 1 and 2 legends coming in regularly at Target, Walmart, and Toys "R" Us stores. So far, I've only seen sporadic stock of Wave 1 Voyagers at Target and Walmart. The Wave 1 Leader figures have started showing up in Toys "R" Us in the past week or so. I'm still trying to find Blackjack. I seem to miss him every time, finding only leftover Huffers and Powerglides.

Quebec Canada has a healthy amount of all the Wave 1 toys and we just spotted wave 2 deluxes at Walmart.

I'm in Northern Virginia. Aside from Silverbolt and Optimus, I've gotten all of my Combiner Wars stuff from local stores so far.
My local Target got the Wave 1 Deluxes and Legends in early, but I never saw any of the Voyagers until recently. They've been restocking, but the toys always go quite fast.
The local TRU has been carrying the Wave 1 Deluxes and Legends for the past couple of months, and has been good about keeping the Leader Megatrons in stock. They also got the Wave 2 Legends in stock fairly early, along with the Wave 1 Voyagers, but I haven't seen the Deluxes yet.

My Target once had Alpha Bravo, Dragstrip, and one of the Deluxe jet guys for about a week or so. Nothing else CW-related. Whirl and some of the other previous Voyagers are still there. Saw some of them in a completely different aisle, too. That was weird.
Basically it sucks.

Not sure how many brits are here but what the heck

I first discovered the line at Toys r Us in Nottingham two weeks ago, they had Firefly, Skydive, Alpha Bravo and Dragstrip. I bought a Firefly as i'd knew i would enjoy the whole line, and it looked like a good start

Sadly now it seems i'm struggling. Nottingham and Chesterfield close to me are out allthough i did buy Silverbolt from Derby! The only CW figure there though, seems to be quite the challenge finding them!
How long has this wave been out btw and when do the rest show up?

They've been out for a couple of months at least I think. When they show up in your local shops seems to be depending on when they move the AoE stuff no-one seems to want (one steps and power battlers for example) and any other stuff shelf/peg warming.
I wonder if it would work to buy a lot of the shelf/peg warming stuff from one location of a chain then return it to another location, then the first location may be more inclined to put out the newer stuff.

Central NC (Triangle Area):
Walmarts: basically nothing, most got one to two cases of the first wave (Deluxe and Voyager) and sold out, then didn't restock. Seems Deluxe Wave 2 is hitting here about now though.
TRU: Generally consistent at getting things in (all but W2 Deluxes so far) and promptly selling out.
Target: They get these in but they sit in the back (and end up getting sold out of the back) because most have a pile of Swerves, Cosmoses (Cosmi?), Rattraps, Tankors, Roadbusters, Whirls, etc clogging the Generations pegs/shelves. Should be noted that they got CW Wave 1 in looooong before other retailers around here (I'm talking right after Christmas).
Kmart: Got in one or two cases of Wave 1 and haven't restocked.
I've also noticed it starting to improve in the last couple weeks as the RiD 2015 product is starting to move, at last, with the cartoon actually on TV.

Only the Silverbolt and Optimus seem to be readily available (assuming the store has any CW at all, many don't). If you hunt you might find the odd limb, one place had Motormaster, some places have the random Windcharger or Huffer.
Walmart and Target doing a bad job in stocking newer CW Generations toys

Been checking the Target and Walmart sites daily. Still no signs of any 2015 CW Generations toys.
Don't know how all of the Walmart and Target stores are in America. With stocking newer 2015 CW Generations toys in stores.
My local Target and Walmart stores currently just have RID2015 and Rescue Bots toys.
Three weeks ago, One of my local Walmarts finally got in a CW Wave One deluxe case of Aerialbots in. Toys sold out quick and haven't seen anything else since.
My Target stores on the Third week of January got in a case of Wave One CW deluxes. Only saw Two figures. Then it sold out. Haven't seen any CW Generations toys in this store since.
Seems like the Toys R Us site and stores are stocking more 2015 CW Generations toys in stores and on site. Compared to other USA retailers.
Think the problem might be store employee scalpers not stocking the toys on shelves.
Maybe the DOC Strike, that's ended now. Perhaps it's the no CW Generations cartoon on a network that is causing lower ordering.
Seems like the days of going to stores looking for newer Transformers toys is over. As sites like BBTS, TFsource, Captured Prey, Hasbrotoyshop. Are the fastest in getting these newer Transformers toys in. Without the need to play with scalpers. go home empty handed. No fruitless car trips wasting gas.

Walmarts around here have been going bananas with CW Wave 2 in the past couple weeks.
That said, there's already a thread for this on the very first page of this section where folks address what's going on around them

Quite right. Merging, thank you for the heads up.
Edit: Already taken care of by someone else, carry on!
