is the transformers collection a huge phenonomen ever, i mean approximately what you say the percentage of people collecting transformers, and what make this popularity last so long? i mean i never heard of people obsessed of collecting simpson toys or ninja turtles toys. they do exist, but a small fraction.

Yeah i think its pretty huge.

And to be honest next to Star Wars toys, Transformers is probably one of the most popular toy collecting hobby.

I think the reason it's so poplular is because its a unique kind of toy (despite having alot of knock-offs and copy cats produced). Also because Transformers started as a toy and then spawned into the tv series etc which means that at the heart of Transformers are the toys. Also Transformers constantly keeps changing and reinventing itself, giving the fans a reason to stick around and keep on buying. Lets face it Transformers are the ulitimate boys toy. Hours of fun.

The thing i personally love about collecting Transformers toys is the variety and i know i'll never have a complete collection. I like being able to change by Display from Robot-modes to Alt-modes every now and again, keeps it fresh!

about %10 lol. Not very big, but then again others like Pokemon, Digimon, TMNT and Naruto and all that stuff.
