I found a Green Botshots Brawl in a Charity shop for 20p last year. I also got a bag of kenner aliens so yes you find the odd cool stuff. - carboot sales are better though in general for cool finds.

-----

As for the "Haul part" of this thread - I did finally just get an Animated Activator Fire Blast Grimlock and I also got a TR Power Master prime.

The strange thing about Prime's minion/head is I'm not really sue who it's supposed to homage is it Hi-Q or is it Orion Pax to some extent too - as the colours really are not like either of them but it does at least remind me a little of Orion Pax due to the face too.

Boy does that face look pretty silly on the Voyager Optimus :)

Been mucking about with different customs base modes - he's not to hard to make some much better ones with the options he has.

Hopefully sometime this year I can finally get an Ultra Magnus then I'll lend one of Magnus' guns to Optimus and the reverse so they can both have a pair of guns.

Awesome! I got him too once just because I wanted to experience the mold and the deco looked fun. Sadnly though, I am not a big fan, he is very fiddly and not solid at all.

I see him as an homage to both. he is Hi Q in robot mode and orion pax in head mode.

Thats pretty smart, I didnt even think of that and I own both.

I am please to say that today I FINALLY Got an RID Crazybolt in B&M Bargains unfortunately I missed out on the Dinosaur Gun leader I was hoping to get to complete the combiner - they'd all gone.

I'll see if I can get one on Amazon instead. (Bit off topic but I was rather surprised to see they had a rather groovy The Dark Knight Returns batman figure boxed set too) I think that store has more Batman stuff than TRU does.

They also had some of the Mini-con 4 packs too - but not the one I needed unfortunately which is one of the Weaponiser ones.

Still no sign of anything other than The Optimus wave of CW limbs though - perhaps eventually they might get something else too.

But yep - I'm dead pleased to get Crazybolt he was only £9.99 as well.

That is a great price for a fun figure, congrats! I had a very similar experience hen I saw it at a store called Winners, here in Canada. It sounds like your store, which gets like random toys, depending on what their wholesaler has. They also had that same pack of minicons and I too am waiting instead for the all weapon one. It never appeared in Canada so far.

This bag had a whole mishmash of stuff. AOE Smash and Change Prime missing arms, RID Starcream missing parts and RID Steeljaw missing a leg.

It's a good thing I don't have that store near me or there would be no end of TFs and junkers/customs fodder coming into the house. Though incidentally I did recently offload a bunch of unwanted TFs at my local charity shop (nothing exciting, mostly Energon scouts and some of the less cool first movie deluxes).

I was MCM Birmingham here in the UK, over the weekend. From A1 toys, I snagged the UK version of the Titan Force boxed set. It has the Charon sticker over the Brainstorm logo. I also snagged TR Broadside, Perceptor, Kup, Topspin, Krok and Quake on the Saturday from IDT. On the Sunday, went back to IDT and was able to get Sixshot, Legends Laserbeak, Legends Ravage and Lio Prime. From another vendor, I was able to find the TFCC Drag Strip

Actually it was a Hasbro Toy Shop exclusive originally intended as an Asia exclusive.

Ahh ok. Thanks for that info. I thought it was the TFCC because of the logo on the back of the box.

Oh, that. Up until Combiner Wars, Age of Extinction, and RID that logo was on most of Hasbro's Transformers packages.

Power Core Combiners

G1 Commemorative Series

Generations (up until the last wave)

Masterpiece

I think we get the idea. Basically when Hasbro started going full on multilingual with the packaging they stopped promoting the club on the packaging (even though it wasn't solely an American club).

Ebay. Both bone white and Getaway with an unscratched face plate. My current complete Countdown set rocket is yellowed half like Twoface of Batman fame so I needed a replacement.

It's a hunt. Try looking for one that fits your specifications on ebay. Same with other online shops. Only difference is it's virtual.

That being the case, if an online member sells you one of your wants. Is that a hunt? Or a haul?

its a haul, everything is haul. But a hunt is when you find something in the wild. This whole thread is about taking pics of what you find when you hunt. Pics of your computer wouldnt be the most interesting thing, I think.

Is ebay also part of the virtual wild? Anyway I'll just follow what the MODS say. If they say I move my post to the haul section I will.

If you're out looking and find something but don't buy it, it's a hunt.
If you're out looking and find something and do buy it, it's a haul.

Finding something on E-Bay or anywhere online ... eh. That's not something to really write about unless it's something new and should be newsed, in which case, this isn't the thread for it.

This is what I found at the thrift shops this week:

Rescue Bots memory game
Image

A badly beaten RID Grimlock
Image

I cant believe this toy was actually bought by people, its the target exclusive Titan hero Optimus from AOE
Image

This was a cool find though, I really didnt know about this hasbro gobot relaunch from the early 00's.

Image

And that damn green ranger. I imported it from the Us since I missed out on him here and I find him later in a thrift shop for 3$ :-(

The only thing I took home was G1 Prowl:

I love his alt mode. For one thing, he was the very first Dark of the Moon figure I got. 2nd, he was the one I was most excited for in the line. 3rd, I am a NASCAR fan, so I loved the concept of a team of "Wreckers" (wasn't full into it yet, didn't know what that meant really besides what TFPrime told us up to that point with Bulkhead) that were NASCAR racecars that were fully armored and armed. Topspin nailed it perfectly. His Transformation was so much fun, and the armored racecar mode was amazing. In a top 5 list of movie alt modes, or alt modes in general, I would place him very high, if not 1st. that figure is a gem in the line

Had a fun hunt friday and sunday.

I found that green BW Dinobot redeco but it was busted up. Still fun to find. And I found Gen Nightbeat too plus a platinum set at Canada's version of TJMaxx called Winners.
