I would love to break the fingers of whoever did that, return whatever they took that can still be returned, and donate the rest of their collection to thrift stores.

So apparently Movie prime has been up to his old tricks and ripping faces off again. The package is still factory, so this looks like something that happened in transit. But the package was also sitting on top of DOTM Leader Prime...
Pretty weird.

It must not have been popped securely onto the tab at the factory.

My local thrift shop is open again. So I went for a look see and yes that is a complete armada sideswipe.
And while that is the DOTM leader class Bumblebee mold, it is not the original release. Not sure which one it is (less paint, more orange).

That would be the AoE release of the DotM mold.

LOTS of TFs at the thrift store today. Sadly though almost all were missing limbs and other important parts.
The best find by far was the Blue Ranger from Dino Charge. Dear Lord, I chased for a decently priced one (meaning no more than retail price) for 5 years now. And I finally found him in a thrift store, alog with a bunch of Turtles.

While checking to see if Transformers RED had shown up in my area (nope) I saw this unbelievable sight at Walmart.

Those first three pegs of the new retro line are ALL SKELETOR! And there isn't a single He-Man to be found anywhere. It's the tail end of the 20XX line all over again. And the real kicker?

20200924_150406.jpg

That wasn't even all of them! There are more on the top shelf, and no He-Man up there either. What the heck is Mattel thinking, just how many Skeletors are packed in a case?

I had bot gone on a nice hunt in a while.

Today, I found a bunch of G1 Starsfreams for 20$ a piece and took one home. It was at a liquidation centre.

At Walmart I finally found the Netflix deluxes but sadly not the ones I was looking for. Toysrus had nothing of interest to me but it was still nice to see the TF section fully stocked for the late Christmas shopping rush. They had an optimus but no bumblebees (boy does that yellow SOB sell).

The best part was the thrift shop since it's the only place where I can find older toys at decent prices. Like the pirate power rangers for my kid and the ap cretacious happy meal toys that I completely missed. We have a dozen more than the US too, like the stegosaurus that I found today. Still on the lookout for more, it's what my son wants for christmas.

There were lots of various second hand Bumblebee toys but also a complete set of the energon optimus drones. No optimus though.

Oh and question for Star Wars collectors, I was under the impression that the Black Series was the 6 inch SW line. But now I see there are other 6 inch figures (like Kara Dune) sold under the makeshift vintage looking kenner card. What's the difference in lines?

Ya shoulda bought the energon limbs, I know a bunch of people in facebook groups looking for limbs to energon Prime.

OK so Star Wars: there are currently 3 6" lines that are operating at the moment. You have the main 6" Black Series line which comes in the nice square boxes with the movie or show they are a part of included on the box. The 2nd line, which you saw, is the Archive Collection, which are basically repacks of prior Black Series figures in retro packaging and some different paint work, a lot like the current Headmasters line for Walmart compared to the TR releases. And then there is the third series, which I can't remember the exact name of, that are Mandalorian based black series figures done up in paint work resembling the end credits concept art and they all come with an imperial credit (I have the Cara Dune of this release). There are also Carbonized releases of some figures, which have a shiny topcoat added to the figures (I have the carbonized Boba Fett).

And these are not to be confused with the Vintage Collection, which are the 3.75" figures with similar articulation. And then there is the Retro Collection, which are the 3.75" figures with the funky hips designed to articulate like a lot of the 90s star wars toys.

But how many would spend the extra 25$ USD on shipping?

Thanks for the 6 inch line breakdown, it helped.

Relegated to online shopping these days, I am however pleasantly surprised to be finding Pulse exclusives down here at local retailers.

Just found Centurion Drone at regular retail price and free shipping, which is unheard of around here.

Also Hades Megatron, which I'm not entirely sure I'm going to get.

I'm usually limited to BBTS and Tf source, its kind of nice to find some stuff locally. Hopefully this means Thrust may eventually show up here in some way.

After weeks ... nay, months ... of no restock at the latest K-Mart (which is substantially different in Australia to what you Yanks have so let's not hear about THAT again) I went in today.

As I approached the usual section, I could see the endcap had been restocked ... with dolls. eh, that's fine.

Then I rounded the corner to the (incredibly short) aisle that contained TF's and Hot Wheels ... only to discover MORE dolls. Barbie's in fact!

So I walked around the whole kids area ... there was nothing! I eventually ended up asking a staff member who told me "they're still on the cage".

They're being moved, he told me where he THINKS they're going and should be done by the end of the week.

Maybe.

Still ... Barbie dolls ...

It's the end of the week.

The new section is still not complete. I did however find some Kingdom figures on one of the "cages" they had just sitting around with stock to go out.

I'm sure somebody is planning on a cluster of random weapons (one of which will match his show gun if you're lucky).

EDIT: The Matrix Workshop pack looks decent. Unlike their Springer kit (which is the source of my complaint; it's a gun that quasi-resembles-ish his G1 toy gun, two random miniguns, and questionable horizontal tailfins)

I found on eBay what I thought was a MISB AOE Expo Nemesis Prime repaint but after receiving the item the figure looked loose in the box. I looked closely to find tape marks of previous opening of the box but couldn't really tell.

So I'm wondering is this possible, could the figure not have received ties to the plastic tray? Had the owner told me that it was "technically" used only opened for inspection I would have been totally fine with that but not the case. So the figure is totally loose coming out if the tray towards the box window if tilted towards me.

Has anyone had this happen either with this figure or any other figure? Thanks fans! :VEHI:
