I've never heard of it and if it was floating around in the box loose that's the sort of thing the seller should say upfront if they're selling it as MISB. Doubly so for a limited exclusive like that. Sounds shady.

I think that seller had a bad label on his figure, that is definitely not MISB. I'd contact him about that, I have had some bad experiences with people listing things incorrectly on ebay

Well It's a bit disappointing though I got it at a great deal. I feel contacting the seller is pointless really. But it seems there was a discrepancy involved which should have been made clear by the seller.

But the feedback I got on this is greatly appreciated...thanks people!

Had a fun hunt, here are some of the things I saw. The Thrift store had quite a bit of transformers but that Overlord is just sad.

Only thing my local thrift stores ever has is dirty baby toys, broken Happy Meal toys, and naked dolls.

Forgot to post this pic from Target last week, though I mentioned it in the haul thread.



It's hard to tell, but there are 8 SS86 Grimlocks there on the shelf, 6 on the bottom and two on the middle. I don't think I've ever seen that many of a single Transformer of any class at Target at the same time.

Ditto at Wal-Mart tonight. SS Grimmy has flooded the TF section, as has Kingdom Dinobot. There were also 8 of him. No new Netflix, though.

Oh man, the thrift store was jam packed with nerdy goodness today. I didn't need most of it, but still cool to see. Someone just dropped off their entire middle earth figure collection. I took that BW Depthcharge though.

I can now say I've seen Beast Megatron at retail, that's a first for me, not sure why they were stocked on their side (with Optimus) on the bottom shelf. More importantly, three BTTF Time Machines sitting on the top shelf, definitely never seen those at retail before!

Yup, was very glad to have found it. It's in a good home now, mine!

Went hunting again today but it was a big bust. None of the cool new stuff showing up in Canada was there. Well, the "new" buzzworthy crash combiners were there but not interested (will instead get the ones coming out in Cyberverse).

I'll probably pass on Primelock since i already have the much better colored RiD one, not sure on Beelock though, Beeside was the only Crash combiner mold I did not get, and 1 of only 3 I didn't get outside the purple plane set and the arctic camo PrimeStrong one.

I too will get the Cyberverse ones though

I went hunting again today and it was actually somewhat fruitful. I am reminded of something Emerje wrote a while back about only seeing Skeletor in the Motus section. I have never seen Skeletor myself. Insead I see the same 2 you'll see below at every single location I go be it EB Games, Toysrus or Walmart. All these images are from Today alone. And the reason I mention them here is because they are right next to the TFs. I have honestly never seen this much of a "collector" toy in my life while on the hunt. I will be repeating some of this in the Brag or Cry thread.

It's Spiderman Homecoming Vulture all over again.



There's 6 or 7 of them there. Good luck selling those at any price.

Apparently, it's a viral thing. I also saw it today with Thanos, don't know if that one's common.

My hunt was not very fruitful today but I still saw some neat stuff.

The thrift store had that big simple Megatronus from RID but it didn't have the weapon which is pretty key to that tank mode and mechanism. And LOTS of Buzzworthy Wolrds collide at Toysrus. There was a scummy toy swap though with half the pack swapped.

The hunt today was good again. Found G2 Ramjet at retail. And my Walmart has loads and loads of that exclusive Keldor set. For any MOTU fan out there, is this set rare in the US or no?

Um, when did Walmart start liquidating Hasbro Pulse exclusives? These were never on the shelf, they went straight to clearance. Pulse still has them in stock for $20.99 a set.

yes, I posted about those a while back when I was on Vacation the 3rd week of July (coincidentally when the film came out). You can see barely on the image below I took from one of my local walmarts. They actually pulled the toy from shelves, and you have to "ask" customer service for them to pull one out of the back for you. (you can see part of the notice on the 2nd shelf)

My wife found and bought some for me for $7 back a few weeks ago. still haven't opened them, and at least 2 of the figures will be going on the Den wall once it's ready, but it was a shock

Saw the Ark at walmart today, but don't need it.

I didn't need this thrift shop find either but at 4$ you betchyur butt I took it home. My son can not have enough bumblebees especially when they are of the easier variety.

Found some unexpected stuff at the local surplus and salvage store. First off the had an endcap full of awful G1 combiner KO sets. These were the shrunk down ones that I haven't seen since they were at Big Lots like 12 years ago, but somehow they've gotten even worse! Half the limbs don't even transform anymore, Breakdown and Streetwise and a few others have had all their bot parts integrated with or removed from the molds making them just cars. Oddly all the weapons seemed to be there and Superion even comes with an oversized Sonar who I believe was also frozen in his portion of the Star Saber. Just terrible. What I did get was a KO Jet Icarus from Jetman (the Sentai series just before MMPR) which looked OK despite being $12. I'm sure it's garbage, but that's the only kind of KO I buy.

Also was surprised to find a bundle of Transformers Prime season 1 and 2 Shout Factory DVDs for only $9! Big score there! Just ordered Season 3 bringing the total to $22. Blu-Ray would have been better, but I wont complain about this.

When did Kingdom Cyclonus suddenly become so abundant? My brother talked me into driving him to the mall last knight (about a 70 mile drive, he covered gas and tolls). While there we stopped in at one of those pop up calendar and gift stores and they had Cyclonus and two Rhinoxs for $47 each (and a Galvatron with correct shoulders for $75). Then went to Macy's because I wanted to see this TRU display I've heard so much about (very meh, it was just a small space in the back, no real signage) and again they had a Cyclonus and a bunch of Rhinoxs. After the mall I made a quick stop at Walmart, checked out the Transformers, and sure enough, a Cyclonus behind two Rhinoxs. I was under the impression that he had become scarce, you can't get one on Amazon under $45, but I guess he's not that rare.

Simple, he was repacked with Rhinox and that is the most recent wave case before Rhinox/Tigatron just started showing up. As for Amazon, they are weird with repacks, for some they never get a second run, and for other they seem to get it much later. I believe they get solid cases instead of wave assortments, so that might be part of the equation.
