Since the CW Devastator is being released, I'm thinking of starting a movie collection. This collection will consist of Kup, Springer, Arcee, Hot Rod, Galvatron and more. I'm currently looking for a Kup (Takara only). Any other help or pointers?

Personally I think the generations Kup is a great mold and the upcoming Leader Magnus is probably the best Magnus we've ever had (barring Masterpiece)

I Think the old Classics Hot Rodimus is a good Hot Rod, but Rodimus Prime might be the hardest part to find. Cloud Rodimus (the springer redeco) is okay... not the best.

The best Kup, hands down, is the "Autobot Warriors" set from Hasbro Asia. The coloring on the figure is spot on for screen accuracy, if that's what you're going for. The mold itself is simply awesome too.

Thanks Mel, I found Kup for $100. Wreck Gar for $60. Note taken about the Magnus, I guess I'll own 2 MP and LC.

If you are getting Wreck-Gar, see if you can find a Junk Heap as well. One for bot mode and one for alt mode to ride on. That combo looks really good on display.

I know a lot of people don't like this figure, but I use the die-cast Rodimus from the Titanium Series as my Rodimus Prime. Scale wise, he's bigger than Classics Rodimus (which I use for Hot Rod) and Ultra Magnus.

Ok I found Hot Rod, Blitzwing, Arcee and Springer.

When you say Movie collection, do you mean every Transformer that appeared in the movie or just the ones that were introduced? because the former is a tall order.

The main characters minus the ones whom didnt survive. So Wheelie, Grimlock, Ultra Magnus, 2 - 3 Sweeps, Cyclonus, Wreck Gar, Sharkticons, Kup, Hot Rod, Springer, Arcee and Galvatron... I think that sums it up. Maybe Rodimus, but I heard they all suck.

P.S. What happened to the second Cyclonus?
