Has there been any information about Takara doing a legends Gears? I thought the Hasbro versions head paint was lacking and I assumed that Takara would do a better job but still no Takara version! And to top it off it is super expensive to get gears do I wait or bite the bullet and get the Hasbro version?

Just have patience. It's taken Takara about a year and a half or more to release Cosmos and Skrapnel (who are still not out yet)

Exactly. Takara may release him in the Adventure line down the road.

BBTS has it for fairly decent price if you don't mind also getting Acid Storm, and are somewhere the BBTS is convenient to use. Not quite as low as regular retail, but nothing insane or anything, thirty bucks for the set of two figures. I hope it's okay to point this out, I have no connection to BBTS other than I sometimes buy stuff from them.

Patience mein freund! Even Cosmos hasn't been given an official solicitation in amiami (BBTS and RK I think) what more Gears.He'll turn up soon enough.

You don't know that, what if getting a new gears figure every so often is Ausbot's life force?? Maybe he's dying now?!?!
