Really like Arcee's deco though not sure about the face. And Chromia's face makes me think of the wrestler Sting for some reason.

It doesn't matter what sort of exclusives they are or aren't.
All I know is they'll surely be easily available long before the regular generations figures actually show up in significant numbers in brick and mortar stores across the U.S.
The only greater irony is how much louder Arcee's new deco screams "TRON" at me than Chromia's design.

I would add "across north america" to that since neither mold ever got to Canada.
I know Hasbro reads these boards and seek out stuff they may have missed and I can't think of anything bigger than that. They rereleased the skids line because it had never reach saturation in the states, I hope they do the same with the Generations Arcee and Chromia line.

Both these repaints look awesome. I especially like that Chromia one. I hope these will be easily obtainable

That time has LONG passed... we will never be seeing those in the wild again.
As for Chromia, besides the helmet and thighs missing blue paint apps, this is a dead ringer to her Combiner Hunters deco. Silver, white, and some red.

However they end up being released, I hope to get them. I wonder if a gold-accented Windblade will follow shortly.

I think these look more awesome and action-y than their original releases!...except for the faces, I hope Arcee is just a sloppy copy and I don't like Chromia's face at all.

The generations line featuring Skids got a second distribution a year later because there was still demand for the wave. I don't see why this wouldn't happen again with this line. Never say never, especially when there is precedent for the opposite.

These better not be exclusives, i really want these 2 molds. The originals never hit retail here (along with so many others) and hasbro has removed them from HTS, so unless they do a 2nd production run or a wave with these im pretty much screwed. Well even if they do make another run im still probably screwed since the stores around here suck at restocking & there are plenty of scalpers around.

Apparently not coming with Pig Sticker or Meat Cleaver. Shame.

Chromia is giving off a bit of a Gundam vibe with all that white and blue. Even the black and pink on Arcee reminds me of the Epyon. Does this make me want them any more? Yes it does.

Now I feel like they need appropriately absurd names like "Gundam Cycle" and "Zobaru".

I hope Arcee's face paint is incomplete in that picture. It looks like her right side should also be outlined in pink. Otherwise I love the deco. I wonder if they fixed her hands?
Chromia's head should have blue paint, but again a beautiful deco.
If Windblade is also being released in her new deco I hope Hasbro fixes her heels. Otherwise what's the point?
And I really hope this is a mass release and not a con exclusive, and not another wave 5. I'd very much like a chance to get at least Arcee, who looks much cooler in her new colors.

Lol yeah I feel the same. However, Arcee's giant cleaver does look a lot like Grand Scourge's. Chromia's gives off a bit of an RTS Deluxe Optimus vibe.

Seems like an even bigger longshot. When the Skids wave was redistributed it was while Hasbro was still releasing figures in that style with that packaging. Now that everything has changed to Combiner Wars it seems unlikely that they'd mix in old non-combining figures.

Yes, I also agree that Arcee looks bad A$$ in those new colors, it almost looks like a stealth upgrade or something. I couldn't get Arcee and Chromia, so I hope that these new decos are a way for Hasbro to re-release the figures but not de-value the originals (and that they aren't just a con exclusive)

Since there's a lot of sad people in this thread about missing out on Hasbro's original Arcee, I'd like to point out that
Takara's Reissue is still available at AmiAmi for 2110Y. Do the math, cause its an amazing deal. And having both, I can tell you that the mold is awesome but Takara's simply kills it.

This right here. Anything is possible sure, but Hasbro has moved on. The only non-CW Generations still for sale at stores are the shelfwarmers... there hasn't been any new stock for months. They could pull a BW Inferno when they resold the overstock at the tail-end of BW, but with that same line they never did a rerelease of TMII Blackarachnia, or any end-of-the line assortment within the brand for that matter really (which is what BA, Arcee, and Chromia were all a part of). There may be "precedents" of rereleases, but there's more precedents of shortages.
If there is overstock, they will more than likely be sold at Ross and such, but I doubt they plan on making more. They could also repackage them, that is always possible, but again that's always just overstock. That's never end-of-the-line stuff. These guys were just shortpacked

Thanks, but I'll pass... I know I might be a minority, but I dislike Takara's deco. I totally get why other people like it since it's very accurate to G1, but I simply prefer the Hasbro deco. Once again, this isn't meant to egg on those who like the Takara version, I'm merely stating my opinion.

So tempted to do it but I feel I would be betraying myself in a way since I have been championing their arrival in canada. And its not like our TRUs have abandoned that line, unlike what martianspygirl says is happening in the states. Here in Canada (quebec a least), there is a section for Combiner Wars and non combiner wars generations figures and it gets restocked quite a bit. There was even a sale on them last week. So it might be over in the states, but I am not giving up hope in canada (who never saw her). I remember a year ago when everyone said thee were no roadbusters in canada, and now well...
As for the states, these two figures are still readily available at retail prices online at BBTS. Its the best option for any american needing these and wont cost you more than retail, no reason to lament anymore
