Who all is getting him? I want him, along with the headphones, but how would he work?

I'm hoping he won't cost too much a few months down the line. I'm getting him mostly for the mold design rather than the mp3 function since I already have one.

I don't, and since I love TFs, then why not get a transforming one? So how much does an SD card cost?

Since my i-pod is almost decomposed i'll definitely buy one.
I'm hoping it will come with at least a 1gb sd card.

Anybody knows?

depends on the size of the card you want and if you are willing to buy one online or not. MP3 soundwave takes a miniSD card and you should be able to find a 2gb one for about $40. I haven't checked prices but there may be even better deals out there right now. Can also get adapters to turn that miniSD into a portable USB flash drive. Very handy.

I'll be getting one, but not for the MP3 player, because he's Soundwave!! He looks pretty good and I'm hoping he's close to scale with the Classics line. Won't bother me if he's not though. As for the Rumble and Frenzy headphones, I might order them later. I figure they'll be around longer then Soundwave.

Getting both, plus his Frenzy/Rumble headphones. Soundwave's one of the characters I try to get all versions of, and he's PERFECT for the Classics. :x

I'm also getting him, but only because he's a new Soundwave. I already have a decent mp3 player. The only way I'd want to use him as a player is if I can find an SD card larger than 4gb... but even then, I wouldn't want to risk damaging the figure by taking it wherever I go. I don't really want the headphones because I'm not sure the sound quality's going to be any good, and they don't look cool enough to warrant spending that much money.

Will I be the only one to get the White version? I think its cool. Well.....I will be turning my hair white, so that probably makes sense.

Hell yeah, I'll be keeping one. I almost fell over when he was announced.

Sitting on the train, you get out G1 Soundwave, people think think "He's playing with a toy!", then you plug in the leads and enjoy your fave track.

Its 20 years too late or right on time if you consider the MP3 element of it.

I am ordering Sonic Blue from BBTS. Does anyone have any pics (other than the vague one at BBTS)? Are the headphones sold separately? Is there anywhere cheaper than BBTS selling these? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Pics here, as reported in the news section.

He comes with standard earbuds, Rumble & Frenzy earphones are sold separately.

Not sure if it's cheaper than BBTS, but AgesThreeAndUp also has a preorder.

I'm going with the traditional blue color, and I'm on the fence about the head phones, while they are kinda nifty, I don't know if I'd pay $30-40 for em.

Thanks for the links. BBTS is $94.99 so I will use the ThreeAndUp link and save $10, hey it adds up when you factor in shipping. I am not sure about the headphones yet though.

What we need now is another version of Rumble and Frenzy as speakers so that soundwave can be used as a stereo in the home.

I don't plan to get either version at the moment. I only just get classics reissue soundwave a few months ago.
If I was getting one though, I'd definitely get the spark blue version.
The white one looks alright in altmode but really patchy in robot mode.
