Non vehicle/beast transformers

Hey guys, I joined seibertron specifically to ask about this. I'd really love to own a transformers toy that doesn't turn into a car or animal. Y'know, like one that turns into an object? But these toys seem pretty hard to track down, and even harder if you don't know what to look for. I've managed to find this list, and some have toys:

And I found out about the Takera Label series, which are all really expensive:

And I know there's a sega genesis and playstation transformer toy. Are there any others that aren't quite as pricey as some of these? Like any from a newer released line?

Oh sure, there is the entire real gear line from Hasbro that should be pretty easy and cheap to track down (all considering):

There is one on amazon for 7$: http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Real-Gear-Robots-Booster/dp/B000SLMNME

And there's armada lazerbeak as well as a newly announced Buzsaw toy. Oh and they are rereleasing this G1 pack this year with a bunch of transformers that turn into a boombox, casettes or microscope:

And there is always MP 05 Megatron who you could find on e-bay for the same price he sold at almost 10 years ago:

That should set you on the right track.

Welcome to the boards! Don't mind the nuts, leave them be and they won't bother you. :)

William pretty much nailed the question, especially with the Real Gear Robots. I do have one caveat about Megatron, and any other Transformer that turns into a realistic firearm: check your local gun laws! Some countries like the Netherlands have a ban against realistic toy guns of any kind, while Australia requires you to have a special permit. MP Megatron causes a lot of drama.

Thanks so much to both of you! That was really helpful! That Megatron looks sick, but I think I'll start with one of those real gears!
