What is the purpose of the hole on CW Protectobot Rook's left toe-hole? He uses the right foot-hole both as an arm and a leg to attach the hand/foot.

I tried attaching weapons/tools to it in vehicle mode, but nothing really looked like it belonged there...

Am I missing something?

That's for the tool I believe. Now that I think about it, he's like Drag Strip with two peg holes in the legs.

Can anyone post an image of all the arm modes and compare lengths, especially for Rook and Drag Strip with both the longer and shorter form?

Well, I don't have pictures, but I just compared the both of them to the rest of my arm/leg deluxes.

Short Dragstrip = Correct leg
Long Dragstrip = too long leg

Short Dragstrip = too short arm
Long Dragstrip = Correct arm

Short Rook = Correct Leg
Long Rook = too long leg

Short Rook = Correct arm
Long Rook = too long arm

So, Dragstrip actually needs two foot holes to function as both types of limbs.
But Rook uses the shorter hole for both forms.

Both a Long Rook arm and a Short Dragstrip arm on the same body is comically wrong.

if you look at the inside of the back cover of the comic he came with it has design concepts etc. one pic shows him with the hand/foot/weapon part attached to the toe hole in question in vehicle mode as a sort of plow/ram device with missiles. it actually looks pretty sweet in my opinion. another great way to use rook was also displayed there I believe which is to attach all of the protectobot's foot/hand/weapon parts to rook in robot mode. two on his shoulders as missile launchers ala ultra magnus and two as giant fists in his unique 5mm "hand" ports. plus you still have an extra port on the roof/cab section to store the grabber arm thing in either mode.

when i saw these pics i instantly liked rook ALOT more. these configurations make him look cool plus with the bot mode storage option you free up your other protectobots to hold just there normal guns which many may see as preferable or more natural.
