from Daimchoc a cityformer of sorts (?) which kind of makes Blaster's role as Metroplex's pilot in the Season#3 of the original MTMTE full circle if this turns out to be true.

I think Blaster is more like a Base-Former like Powermaster Prime's Trailer, for interacting with the smaller -master figures.

Is there enough evidence to suggest Titan Wars will revolve around -Master (Head, Target, Power) figures, and bases, including Fortress Maximus?

Maybe the gimmick will be that everyone turns into a city, base, or extension and can connect together?

Kind of what the first few Scramble City leaders did with Metroplex/Trypticon?

Blaster has never been a character I've particularly cared for, but that figure doesn't look bad and I hope there'll be a Soundwave retool/repaint. I'm not sure how I'd feel if this mould was bigger than Leader class though, a (hypothetical) Soundwave who towers above Megatron and Starscream would just be odd, so I hope the mould is at least a little bit shorter than Combiner Wars Megatron.

Can't wait for the inevitable pictures of Metroplex using Blaster as a turntable!

I could use a base bot for my Kreons.

Rumour: First Image of Titan Wars Blaster, Including Base Mode

You might remember the lineart teasers from the potentially forthcoming Transformers Titan Wars toyline from Hasbro, all of which we saw at BotCon 2015 (though apparently were not meant to).

It appears now that Blaster has made it from the card art to digital render, in a rumoured first look at a reinvention of the character as a three-in-one robot/boombox/base mode - probably as a playset for the smaller Head-, Target- and Powermaster figures, also seen in that lineart. So, while we urge you to take this with at least three handfuls of salt, take a look below at the image, via Facebook user 洪尚靖 and ACToys!

If real, it's definitely interesting. I wonder what size class he is though. Is this source reputable?

That looks like so much fun. Baseformers/playsets are sorely lacking, been on a drought since that nice run with Dark of the Moon Cyberverse and Metroplex. Also, this is one step closer to my pipe dream of Ten's Lost Light playset being realized.

looks pretty consistent with those line drawings and looks like a heck of a lot of trouble to fake

i'm guessing he's about the size of ultra magnus, conjecture based on the the hypothesis that the recently announced buzzsaw might somehow fit in blaster's chest.

which wold in turn, lead me to speculate regarding the possibility of a repurposing of the mould for a generations soundwave (who lets face it, is the biggest g1 character not to have a proper update)

Recently announced buzzsaw? Did I miss something?

That's mildly intersting, but where do the speakers go in bot mode? It doesn't look like they split, and they don't appear to be on either the outside, or inside of the legs...

I don't CW to end until Galvatronus gets his limbs and the Technobots see justice and when will we see the Predacons?

I will shrug very loudly and slowly at that. I hope it answers the question.

i hope its true, ive always wanted blaster but have had terrible luck trying to get one. This would fill the void rather nicely. Just for the love of god dont be an over priced new class or leader, voyager or deluxe would be great.

There's no way it will be smaller than leader class. Too much going on and it's probably going to work with the new legends cassettes.

I feel like Soundwave is going to be coming out 2016 then Blaster 2017. If they can hold the cassettes or onyx tablets or whatever they are now they'd have to be leader class, there's just no way to get a legends class figure to fit inside a voyager or deluxe.

Daim Choc is about as reputable as you can get.

The speakers do seem to become the legs, take a look at the outside edge of his leg there's a small black trapezium shape on there that matches the bottom of the speakers.

I would agree that the speakers fold and tuck to form his legs, especially after checking out the line art.

It does appear that a square thing is designed to plug into his chest.

Probably leader sized, but I'd rather voyager class.

While the Technobots is obscure, Hasbro confirmed that they are not working on any beast combiners. But that makes sense since Predaking isn' scramble city and is more likely to be a titan class figure down the line. Hasbro did comfirm that they are making 1 titan class figure per year from here on out and that it probably when they will release Pradaking. He isn't part of Combiner Wars.

Also, Galvatronus will never have his own limbs, that was made pretty clear with what the toy is meant to be, even to the point of giving him a fiction that he can mind control other parts to become his limbs.

It's odd how the speakers on his legs in robot mode aren't used as the speakers in boombox mode.
