Hey all.
I felt as though my question of a possible MP Drift didn't belong in the MP Rumour Thread since there is no rumor I know of concerning such a figure for him.

If I there is a thread this question should be submitted under then my apologies and please merge the thread.

So, I'm enjoying the fact that Drift as a character and toy is steadily growing in recognition. With more and more MPs being announced and the subsequent reprints/reminds, what do any of you think is the likelihood we will see a MP Drift?
My thoughts (more like hopes) are that a MP Blurr will be made at some point and then perhaps repainted/re molded into a MP Drift.

Thoughts?

If he gets a superstar status like Starsaber? It'd be a big risk if the pool their resources for Drift imho.

The more I think about it, the more I'd say you're right. Oh well, I'll keep enjoying the MPs they are actually producing.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath either. I bet we'd get MP combiners before we'd get characters that were essentially retconned into G1.

I'm guessing that even if they did MP Blurr it would be based on his G1 form, not his Generations form where he'd be more appropriate to retool into Drift.

I think ultimately we are more likely going to see an MP style/scale Drift from a third party than anything official from Takara.

Maybe G1 MP Blurr could be repainted into Drift as an exclusive of some sort. As for Drift being his own guy... Nah. I don't see that happening.

Love the idea but i think there is a slew of characters to get through before he is an option.
However , would i scoop one up once it does get done?? Sure, why not.

Your best bet would probably be if a 3rd party group were to make one.

Then I look forward to getting some great 3rd party Drift figures
