Are you ready?! Seibertron is currently at the New York Comiccon (NYCC) bringin you the latest reveals. On this preview night, we have been finally shown the figures up the upcoming lin: Titans Return (previously known as Titan Wars). The headmasters are confirmed as TItan Masters. Below you can see the following figures:

Stripes
Rewind
Twincast (what the small Blaster headmaster is called)
Galvatron
Hardhead
Skullcruncher

Along with previous revealed combiners Brticus and Skyreign added in for good measure.

My initial reaction is a neutral.

Adequate with provisos.

Very VERY happy with what I'm seeing. Galvatron looks great, skullcruncher looks great, hardhead looks pretty cool, rewind looks awesome the only one who I'm not too crazy about is stripes.

well even though he turns into a tank, that's clearly so that the arms would have a place to go, other than that rewind is super IDW and turns into an undefined thing. So this figure is clearly superior in every single way to the TFSS 2.0 rewind

These look like kids should have fun with them, but I remain largely uninterested. Hardhead and Skullcruncher are possible buys though.

Stripes is pretty sub par.

I think Galvatron is transformed wrong in cannon mode with his training wheels arms facing forwards it likely should face backwards.

So uh, what's that thing on Galvatron's back and undercarriage for? Is it a handle to turn him into a "gun" mode? That's a fairly large piece to just not be doing anything otherwise. Not that the last actual Galvatron toy didn't have useless pieces on it though.

Kinda interesting that they're doing headmasters in every class size except legends obviously.

Did the above main post mean to say the Mini-vehicle to vehicle accessories are called Headmasters ? because they clearly don't turn into heads.#

So I guess the little (mostly pointless fluff) mini-vehicles are called "Titan-Masters" ? if so they don't deserve the name; it sounds so impressive. Heck since they are just a 'thing' they may as well called them something suitably insulting like "Deployers" = that is the name all the toys that are a bit pish so often gets after all.

Galvatron has two heads. One, the one we most commonly associate with him, stores in his chest so you can attach the Headmaster. Definite buy from me. As is Skullcruncher and Hardhead. Blaster likely is too if he has a similar two head gimmick to Galvatron. Hopefully they all have it, in all honesty. I need Rewind for my MTMTE group. Definite buy there too.

It looks like galvatron has a normal head while a smaller bot forms his crown and chin plate like a helmet. Am I the only one that can see that?

I'll be really frustrated, angry and annoyed if galvatron is a headmaster.

Izz Galvatron a headmaster or crest master? Seems like his head has two modes. Either way, INSTANT TT version buy. Finally a size class that beits the lunatic leader of the 1986 Decepticons.

I just posted the same thing before you lol. Crestmaster sounds better than thehhelmet master I suggested. I hope galvatron has a normal fixed head I'd be extremely unhappy if they went to the bother of making galvatron to ruin him by making him a headmaster.

I like what I see, especially Galvatron. Guy finally gets the Voyager (Leader?) figure he deserves!

Headmasters are lovely as well. What are the odds that we might get Chromedome...?

Galvatron IS a headmaster and the "second head" is really just a battle mask type thing that flips out from the chest to give him a more "normal" Galvatron look.

Wait, so we're NOT getting a Horri-Bull, a new Nightbeat and a whoever that other head is riding the monster to monster vehicle thing? Squeezeplay perhaps? That's cool and all that we're getting extra heads but if they don't release their original bodies then that's worse than having extra combiner torsos and limbs. If they were new characters or characters that were never headmasters to begin with being released on their own then that would be fine but those are characters who are supposed to be headmasters and come with their own bodies/transectors. It's early still but it would be weird if they do that.

I think it's amusing that Blaster has a base mode that looks like a club. We need a Soundwave that can do that too, STAT!

Blaster and Galvatron may not be MPs, but if they're the right size, I could get by. Of course, it'd be even better if we could get a Galvatron II recolor out of this... maybe even make him bluish-gray to match the Marvel US/RG1 depiction. (I won't hold my breath, though.)

Skullcruncher looks awesome. Unfortunately, that's about it. Sorry, guys, that Galvatron is pretty ugly. Unless the head is mistransformed, and it's very possible at one of these shows, the gimmick just doesn't work on him. I was looking forward to these reveals, as the G1 headmasters were my favorite of all of G1. I'm glad I still have them, as these will not take their places
On the positive side, though, I'm glad to see the return of bases, but why Blaster? That's a head scratcher

Im not too happy with that Galvy though. I mean, hes ok, but its not perfect. Everything else...yes please.

i am definantly getting galvatron. i'm not even gonna bother with the price. i need a galvatron to complete my 86' movie cast (well him,ultra magnus, scourge, and wreck gar)

True enough. However, I was going by them being color matched to the vehicles/beasts they're riding. It makes me think that they're going to be released at the new legends class' price points. Each set will come with the head and a vehicle to vehicle or beast to beast accessory for them to interact with.

It seems they're keeping the fiction closer to what it was in Japan. So are those mini-vehicles just vehicles that come with extra heads or do they transform into a body too?
