While there's nothing about the figure that specifically says Sentinel Prime to me (in my mind Sentinel will always be a blue and orange pick-up truck with a snow plough), It does look good and I'd like to have it. I don't know very much about Astrotrain as a character, so I'm not eagerly anticipating the inevitable retool, but if the colour scheme on Astrotrain looks good I'll more than likely get both versions of the mould.

Kinda bugs me that the vehicles are in scale with each other but not with the figure that rides in them.

Sabrblade wrote:Those are some heels the figure has. :-P

Yeah, gotta wonder if the inevitable retool will reverse the legs and use the nosecone halves as the feet instead.

Well that's because this is based on IDW Sentinel Prime who was orange and not on the Animated Sentinel.

Am I the only one who's bothered by the fact that he'll have next to NO articulation with his head? Those two massive panels on either side of it block it from turning almost at all. I have no attachment to the character, and the colors are giving Victorion a run for her money in the eye-searing department.

Everyone thinks Sentinel will be repainted as Astrotrain, but watch Hasbro throw us a curve ball and do a straight repaint, head and all, as Armada Jetfire just because.

But seriously, I don't know if it's been mentioned since this thread is way longer than I have time to read, but does anyone else think Galvatron has potential to be remolded into Energon Megatron? Wouldn't take much work, they could make a new Titan Master for him that looks like Armada Megatron though the horns might be troublesome.

I think the Individual Titan Masters may be able to combine with their vehicles to make heads for Fortress Maximus. I could be wrong, they seem too small, but Crashbash's beast's sides look like the sides of a helmet and the handle peg could act as a neck. We haven't seen these guys in weapon mode so who knows what else they're hiding.

They really need to give us a Star Saber in this line. The way the larger figures do their heads are perfect for him and a great call back to the Brainmasters. An IDW style figure would be a lot of fun.

This guy rocks, and I think wins the award for smartest and most unobtrusive panel design ever 8-)

IDW Sentinel wasn't, though:

Wow, that's quite a disparity, he would've made a cool toy though; well, then, the toy at least is based on stormbringer astrotrain (I grew up reading that in high school, it's so cool we're getting a toy from that series :x )

Heh, in my mind Sentinel will always be a big red rosenbauer fire engine. I don't like this figure much at all. It just doesn't seem very interesting and the bright orange seems a bit garish for what's not a paritcular exciting looking robot.

Would folks be satisfied with a mere Voyager class Omega Supreme?

I too could appreciate a Star Saber. Give us some different characters :BOT:

Wow I didn't even think about the potential of Star Saber and the Road Caesar Brainmasters in the Titan Masters line. If we get a proper Star Saber out of this, I'd be a really happy camper.

Hopefully they'll do Godmasters and targetmasters properly as well as engines and guns.

Yeah, I got him just to do the repaint but I'd like an official release that doesn't require me to buy a pinch of third party add ons.

The front of the legs flips up to allow for (I assume) 360 degree rotation, so it might yet be possible ;)

Why the helld didnt we get ASTROTRAIN from the start, and have that guy as a collector Club instead? It boggle the mind.

Same reason we are getting Blaster before Soundwave. It seems Hasbro wisened up by giving the less popular characters a release first, encouraging kids to know new or lesser known characters first. I am sure there are other examples but I cant think of them at the moment.

Later waves are notoriously harder to find in stores too, so later, more popular characters whom adults really care for will be found easier since so many preorder or order online. Those lesser characters are thus more available in stores for the audience that only buys brick and mortar style.

That's just an idea of mine :BOT:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we've never, in any toy line, had a Leader Class Rodimus figure. Ever. (The MP doesn't count. It's MP.) I think this would be the perfect time.
Seibertron wrote:Hopefully they'll do Godmasters and targetmasters properly as well as engines and guns.
Supposedly there's a Powermaster Prime coming down the line, out of the Leader Ultra Magnus mold. If that's the case, we'll find out soon enough. They'd have to do a LOT of retooling to Magnus to get a proper Powermaster Prime, though.

I wish we would get a voyager Rodimus. it would match his size nicely and if they did it in MTMTE style I would buy without hesitation. The combiner wars guy just doesn't work in robot mode and he's tiny compared to the others, so he is in need of a good updated figure :BOT:

Yeah, but that to me does not scream Rodimus. While the size works, the body type doesn't fully fit Rodimus for me. He looks good don't get me wrong, but he's just too much for me to justify and he just doesn't look enough the part :BOT:
