Wouldn't the colors be way off, though? Topspin's head is almost entirely blue, and Twin Twist is almost entirely white, save for the chest. Granted, color accuracy for Titanmasters isn't exactly Hasbro's greatest concern. (That's our job.) Still, a Jumpstarter Deluxe exclusive to Target might be too much for them to pass up. :P

You could easily have the head of the Titan Master be white with white arms and legs and still have Topspin's face be blue.

That's true, I was just thinking that it might be too much white for a head that's almost entirely blue, save the face. Unless you're talking about painting the inner arm and leg details on the Titanmaster.

Yeah....one thing! with the titan master robot heads of Apeface, Brawn & Clobber(a TM who basically forms a Grimlock head) so i wonder if we'll ever get full sized bodies for those?(i mean full sized Apeface, Brawn & Grimlock) whether it's Deluxe, Voy or Leader ;)

That didn't exactly stop them from making Titan Masters of Twincast and Soundblaster, or to a lesser degree because of the name, Nebulon.

Other easy redecos Hasbro didnt do:

Ironhide from Prime Kup
Any other seeker aside from Starscream in Prime
No Prime Frenzy
They chose not to release Rumble in their Transformers 2010 line, even though the toy was ready, and would have made an easy redeco as Frenzy

And the only recent Black Prime I can think of is the generations legends toy. None for combiner wars, RID, movie, or Prime. Collectos had to rely on Takara for all those Black primes.

So yeah, Hasbro doesnt do as many easy redecos as it seems.

Also, on a similar note, I dont think Hasbro will use the Galvatron or Alpha Trion mold for a redeco. They are already getting the mileage from the Astrotrain, Tankor and Bliztwing triple changer mold. I think those other 2 will go the way of Voyager Rhinox and Whirl who didnt get any Hasbro redecos.

So I was playing with my new Scourge and much preffer having his legs in the direction where his feet are bigger than his heels. Plus it integrates the alt mode more and adds more colour and diversity to the toy's pallette. I feel this should have been the way to go with this toy in terms of design and I will tell you why: it makes those leg panels no longer necesary. I know peope like panels to cover the hollowness but they dont fool me. The toy is still hollow, so if a leg panel helps cover the hollowness but then detracts from the alt mode (which is the case with Galvatron), then I would rather just not have the panel.

And with Scourge, its the same thing. There is detailing in the underside of the spaceship at the front but we cant see it because of those leg panels that also work against the nice curved outline of the ship.

So I will remove them and keep them in a ziploc bag with other accessories I dont use. Anyone else in the same (space) boat?

I am not. Having the legs turned around totally ruins the G1 toy/cartoon look of the figure. I don't mind the panels on Scourge or Galvatron. On Scourge they add what's basically landing gear and also some blasters. On Galvatron, I really don't see the big deal of the flaps. I'd much rather have the illusion of a solid leg than not have those flaps.

I do find it funny how people bitch about hollowness in the figures. But when hasbro does something to cover that up they also complain because now there's "kibble". Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I never bitched about hollowness though (at least I dont think I did). I feel its 2 different groups of people that speak up when something is not ideal for them, which makes the fandom as a collective seem like it doesnt know what it wants. But its just different people with different tastes. Not the same people complaining. And that makes sense, we are all different and Hasbro cant please us all at the same time.

I like Scourge both ways. The leg thing is also an easy fix for Scourge+Sweeps if one doesn't want to get Takara Scourge(s) for that purpose.

In other news, just got done stickering up Fort Max. And now I hate stickers. Got a few crooked ones, and two upside down. Well, it would have been one upside down but then it would have been lopsided since they were mirrored so I put the second upside down to match. Not a huge deal, I did alright on the rest. I may end up removing them because I don't feel glints of tiny stickers add much to a figure of this size.

Now to play with the sucker! Basemodes ho!

I like Galvatron's panels that cover up the thighs. They don't take away from the alt modes for me and they makes the legs look really awesome for all angles, so I keep them and like them

I have a request for anyone who owns a Titans Return Rewind, and a micrometer or caliper. I am wanting to try and design a legends size Rosanna figure to be compatible with Titans Return Blaster, but I don't have a figure to measure.

Firstly, I need measurements for the dimensions of the tablet mode (length, width, and height). I need these measurements to be as exact as possible, which is why I recommend using a good micrometer.

Secondly, I need to know both the height of Rewind in robot mode (for scaling reasons), as well as the approximate height of the head. (If you could also measure the gun port that would be good. Most people say transformers gun handle ports are 5mm, but I need to be certain that it isn't slightly a different size.)

If anyone can do this for me, you are awesome! ;)^ If anyone decides to help, just send me the dimensions by PM. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I also need the measurements of Rewind's tablet mode to be at the thickest points of each side, so I'll know the limit of how big it can be.

I find the panels to be neglectable on Galvatron in the alt modes. Sure, they're there but they don't interrupt the flow or get in the way of anything. Scourge, I can understand why people don't like them but at least they did sculpt guns on the other side of them otherwise it could have been much worse just having 2 smooth bits hanging off the bottom.

Having sticked both Metroplex and Encore Fort Max I too have a strong hatred of stickers. One of the big selling points for me on Takara's Fort Max (besides the toy/Headmasters-accurate head and Master Sword) was the fact that it seems that most of his details are painted instead of stickers. I mean it looks like there still is quite a few but... I'd rather put 20 on than 50. Speaking of Takara's Fort Max, have we actually gotten confirmation of it coming with the Master Sword yet? I feel like it's just been assumed so far that it would.

It's starting to look more like he doesn't. I can't remember why people originally thought he did, but when the Japanese pre-orders came out there was no mention of the sword or photos. Even the most recent comparison shots with Metroplex show him without the sword.

Or you could just buy a legends-class Rewind and paint it. I'd think that'd be much cheaper.

Maybe they thought he did because he was outlined with it:

Thanks for all your feedback guys regarding the extra panels. You have swayed me to keep them on Scourge. I will still be turnign his legs back to break up the blue.

Also, I think there is a running change with skullsmasher. They came out a month later in Canada (and only at Walmart so far) and my Skullsmasher stands quite well. I was worried after the stories I heard but I dont really see it on mine. The hips dont seem crazy loose. I even tested it with adding weight to his back and I can still get him to stand. Might this be like what happened with Brawl?

Maybe just the first round was botched with the loose hips and things were better after that. But I'm jealous of a good standing Skullsmasher. Still really like mine though, even if he is a booger to stand!

Mine had loose hips, but I've not had trouble standing him. He's not the best figure at standing I've ever had, but if you turn out his legs slightly he stands just fine.

Found the same thing with mine.

Oddly enough though, I love his Crocogator mode more though. He stays in that mode a lot!

Going back to the leg thing for a moment, the hollow legs doesn't really bother me as much as say "shell-forming" does in some ways, which translates to a lot of kibble. Case-in-point here is AoE Galvatron for example. With Scourge I was actually looking into finding a way to swap his feet around so the bigger foot portion sits forward and the smaller piece is in the back while keeping the blue-panel stuff forward, but I am not that inclined to attempt it myself.
