The Energon Pub

Amazon.ca now last listing for several upcoming Legends Class figures that are part of the Generations line. Some have have been seen at Botcon, others at NYCC and some were just rumours ... until now.

Here are a breakdown of the listings.

These five were all seen at Botcon and the first three have images and these images differ from the previous stock photos since these are of the actual toys rather than computer renders.

These last three are totally new reveals:

Legends Ravage
Legends Wheelie
Legends Rumble

We would assume Ravage to be a retool of Stripes and Rumble to be a retool of Rewind.

Shockwave and Chopshop look great, can't wait to get them

Taserbeak is a pass, since that is part of the soundwave gimmick now

Any bets on if Wheelie is a new mold we'll see Dion out of him at some point?

I posted this yesterday but I'm a little disappointed that Shockwave doesn't have a more pronounced grip for gun mode. I'm sure Bruticus will hold it just fine though. Lifting it's arm while doing it, that's another story.

I think the abs do a 180 with a handle attached to it; but he is far more effieceint a design than powerglide, so I don't think they'll have too much trouble holding him; but he has a secondary combination as a jetpack/giant backpack cannon, so he isn't completely useless if yours can't hold it up.

& is that the best that they could come up with for Wreckgar? yet another bloody Groove repaint!

Chop Shop looks ok.....but would prefer or rather wait for a Shrapnel repaint(yes...i know we already got one in the form of Skrapnel! well.......the rest of the world did........the UK didn't! )

anyone know what type of a vehicle that's supposed to be that Buzzsaw turns into? coz it looks weird

Yeah, it's always a little funny when figures don't match their names. Like how Hubcap is a Porsche 924 Turbo, a car that doesn't actually have hubcaps.

As for Pipes I'm not crazy about the red face. I get that they were going for the red visor of the original toy and IDW version, but I'd rather they went with silver face and red eyes of the cartoon.

My Superion is still holding up Powerglide quite well, so I'm not concerned with Shockwave.

I'm still trying to figure out how Bruticus will hold Shockwave. I don't see a handle or anything.

Have to say I'm disappointed in Buzzsaw. Considering the original turned from a rectangle to a pretty decent bird, I don't know why this one is so compromised. If it's for the weird vehicle thing, I'd prefer if they just left it out. It doesn't look like anything anyway.

Two bad they didn't give Pipes two guns. They could be his "pipes".

Chop Shop is a must have for me. Can never have enough bugs, and he can wield the mini-Chop Shop from the Megatron set! Would've been even better if the mandibles were remolded, but really even just the change in color layout does a lot to set him apart from Shrapnel.


Shockwave is alright, I guess. He's kind of a uniform cylinder in both modes, if that makes sense. Like his original and FoC designs give him a buff upper body and long skinny legs, a contrast I really like, but this one is all the same.
Although FoC and maybe even DotM Shocky should be able to hold him, would would be AWESOME!

I must say, the only thing that makes that Legends Wreck-Gar NOT look like Wheelie is the head-sculpt, and even that is hard to see. When I first saw Wreck-Gar a while ago, I thought he was Wheelie. I think those colors look pretty stupid for Wreck-Gar, cuz they're just way too friggin bright.

Maybe there's a peg molded into the backside of the shoulders? I dunno, I still think that the abs are on a pin and can fold into the molded design on his crotch... This one is a puzzler, I like that

Huh, I figured that out almost immediately (I was grinning like an idiot when I figured out what they pulled - was so proud of them), same with silverbolt. Last real transformation mystery for me was, Blackjack, and before that it was, well, actually I don't remember, so this is fun

I said this before the Kremzeek attack wiped this thread from space and time, but who do you all think Wheelie will be? I hope it's not a repaint of Blackjack. I'd rather it be a repaint of Bee/Cliff from the '14 legends line. But really, I dare someone to make a new sculpt. It's a pretty cool thing to do.
