I have never purchased an thing this big. Not all at once, anyway.

I'm 2 nervous 2 open the danger thing.

What if it's a disappointment? What if it sucks? Should I resell it?

I don't know.

I've been staring at it for 3 days.

How would you not know if it sucks? Do you buy random items without any research?

But seriously, just relax, it's a great set of figures. Ignore all those who nitpick about little things like articulated elbows and individual weapons or colour schemes. Enjoy him for yourself, not because of what others have said.

Seriously, open that guy up. He is awesome. You will not be disappointed. the individual bots are fun, sturdy, and look great. The combined mode it just awesome.

I also just got Devy, tonight actually. And then I also just learned that Takara's Scrapper will have elbows and Long Haul improved ones(I knew about the individual weapons but not those changes). The Takara version does look a little better, but not $50+ better.

So all in all, oh well! I'm not disappointed because I decided back when they first showed the pics that the combined mode would be worth it, and it is. Having a Devastator that doesn't fall apart when I pick it up and is considerably larger than most Transformers is truly awesome.

I know I'm posting right after myself, but I have a Scrapper question:

According to Baltmatrix's review the tab on the shovel that connects to the body and forms the foot is fragile. I looked at mine and it seems solid enough, but is it a known breaking point?

And speaking of which, the lack of elbows and individual gun is a bit of a disappointment, but hey it helps creativity:

Duke Of Luns, I recently picked up CW Devy and I also recently viewed the same review. I took extra care w Scrapper but as far as I can tell he is solid and doesn't seem to be prone to being fragile.

I have the TT Dev and the tab snapped after a week. Now I'm investing in heavy duty glue to fix it.

However, he still stands perfectly without that because the scoop is only load-bearing in certain poses.

I'm glad you enjoy it. I didn't like it much at first because it was based off the old G1 cartoon Devy but I warmed up to it after a while
