Starting November 24th, 2015 on the official Transformers Facebook Page (Facebook.com/Transformers), fans will be able to cast a vote for which of the following fan-favorite characters should be added to the line:



That's right, my fellow Seibertronians! We'll get to vote for the next Titan Class figure that will come out in 2017. Who do you think it should be? Fortress Maximus' Decepticon Headmaster counterpart Scorponok? Or Metroplex's rival Trypticon? Or the Autobots last line of defense Omega Supreme?

Starting on 11/20, fans will be treated to campaign-style posts featuring each of the three characters, leading up to the official voting post, which will go up on 11/24 at 1 pm EST. The vote will be active from 1:00 PM EST to 3:00 AM EST. Fans will be able to vote in the comments section of the post.

Additionally, this will be the first Transformers Fan Vote that will include fans from China. Chinese fans will be voting on WeChat, and their vote totals will be joined with the Facebook vote totals to determine the winner, whose identity will be shared with fans in the near future.

I can see the aftermath of this becoming very very bitter between the Omega Supreme and Trypticon camps at least, whatever the result.

And a lot of sadness that we have to pick one and not all of them will get done.

I want war for cybertron trypticon. I want it to be a quadruple changer: dinosaur, satellite, base, and decepticon warship. please vote for Trypticon, with energon veins.

This has me extremely torn. Omega Supreme is, and shall always be my favorite character. However, he has gotten a lot of various toys over the years. I would love to have a New Omega Supreme that would be the same scale as CW Devastator. But for a TITAN size figure, I think it would only fair to produce one for Trypticon or Scorponok. I know toy size does not always equal character size, but I'm stubborn and have always kind of viewed things that way, with the exception of The original series for obvious reasons.

I think of the 3, Trypticon is in most need of a new toy. I'd like to see Scorponok but I think Trypticon is the only one that hasnt been touched .

This is awesome! I'm voting for Scorponok, but I would be really happy with a Trypticon too.I just hope Omega Supreme doesn't win. We need more badass Cons, and his design is the weirdest of those three.

I am unsure which one i would vote for thpugh trypitacon Definitely needs a new toy, but it would be awesome to see a g1 chug Omega supreme, and scorponok I can see them doing eventually

100% Trypticon.

Sentinel has my Scorponok need covered for the time being, and I can wait a little longer for Omega. Platinum Edition reissue aside, I've wanted an updated Trypticon ever since Metroplex was announced. It's time!

4 potential Titan sized figures... That's just massive. I'm pretty sure they'll all be coming regardless, but my vote NEEDS to go to a figure I've wanted for a VERY long time. I didn't expect that he'd come in a Titan class but it's fine that he is. I hope that they do all these characters justice, but my vote of course goes to Scorponok.

Very simply, this has to be Scorponok. Firstly, this is a Headmasters-geared line so he'll fit right in. Secondly, Scorponok has always been a great triple-changer with three very distinct modes (as opposed to a city and a "bsttle station". Thirdly, if we're getting a new Fort Max it makes sense to have his thematic rival in the same scale.

Fourthly though, he's just way, way better than those other choices.

Agreed 100%. The Autobots have enough Titans as is, and Scorponok has gotten a lot of toys, notably the awesome Energon mold and its many variants (I own Cybertron Dark Scorponok and I love 'im). Trypticon never gets any love.

If they DO do Trypticon, I reckon they should ditch his vehicle mode and replace it with something else. It was always kind of a crummy mode, which is a shame because his city and kaiju modes are awesome. Question is, what should they do for his "vehicle" mode? A spaceship? An orbital cannon thing like in WFC? Or maybe just an improvement on his original vehicle mode- so a titanic "land cruiser" type thing?

What other Titan would have a helipad? Only Tidal Wave. Vortex and Spinister would totally hog Trypticon's, and Blades just watches Seinfeld marathons all day sitting on Metroplex's.

If I had to choose, I would pick Trypticon. Omega Supreme had the Year of the Snake repaint which is a decent enough stand in for his Classics self and Scorponok has his Botcon version. All Tryppy has is a crappy Legends figure. He most desperately needs the update.

So, they're going to skip the 2 year production cycle and grind one of these guys out in a year? Guess it could happen, either that or the next figure is ready and they're doing this to tease us and 2017's titan figure has already been decided

They said they're putting one of these things out every year now.

Yes, actually. Both Scorponok and Trypticon still transform into complete, whole things on their own. I never liked how Omega Supreme turns into a base, a tank, and a rocket. And somehow manages to carry the entire bulk of himself inside his own arms. It's just a little too random for me, design-wise.

Look, I had nothing against the previous two fan polls, but this idea is much better. Instead of voting on out-of-context attributes to create a new character who may or may not be popular (or useful to IDW), voting for existing fan favorites to get toys seems like an easy crowd pleaser.

They should do this several times a year, provided runners-up get to re-compete later. (However, I think we all know who would win the "Next Combiner Team Vote" right now.)
