New Kellogs Canada and Hasbro Campaign for a Free Transformers Toy

Remember when cereal boxes had a little surprise in them? Well, this is kind of like that instead you get a free Transformers toy... through the mail.

Kellogg's has teamed up with Hasbro for a special promotion. The details are written on the box pictured below. It seems each specially marked cereal box under the Kellogg's brand (like Fruit Loops) has a special code inside which can then be entered on kelloggs.ca/hasbro. You will then select one of the toys or games you want and write your shipping address where your choice can be delivered. A maximum of 5 coupons per address are allowed. The box identifies Transformers as being one of the main toy brands which can be picked offering One Step Robots in Disguise Bumblebee as an example. Bumblebee is also featured on the front of the box as well. There are 40,000 free toys available. There are also 100,000 10$ off Hasbro products coupons which can also be exchanged for the pin numbers (if the user doesn't want any of the choices available)

This offer is available to all Canadians and Canadian addresses. There is still no word whether or not a similar promotion will be happening in the US or anywhere else.

They are no longer on sale. They now cost 200$ cdn + tax. Shipping would be about 50$ cdn. So if you are serious, please remember that it would cost you 208$ US Shipped. This site has it for cheaper than that: http://www.robotkingdom.com/a91850000g1.html

Also, the box would be ruined due to the security gadget strapped onto it. Still want me to get one for you?

Just in case anyone was contemplating going out and buying some Kellogg's to take advantage of this, the 15$ free toys are completely sold out, all you can get is one super snail mailed coupon for 10$ off something priced at 25$ or higher. Anyone actually snag anything decent while the getting was good out of curiosity?

I only got the snail mail coupon. Do you think it could apply to a total hasbro order of 25$ or more or must it be only 1 figure which costs 25$ or more?

I'll have to double check their wording but I believe it has to be one item over 25$, might still be able to add additional items to the order but there would have to be an item worth 25$ before tax (depending on if its Canadian or US prices, voyager or leader class?) There was mention of "the posting is on us!" I hope (but won't hold my breath) that that applies to what you order, and not the posting of the coupon to you, cause that's pretty poopy otherwise!

The only posting involved is the coupon from them to you. Everything you do once you get the coupon is on you.

Kellogg's Free Toy Campaign Returns to Canada

We previously wrote of a free toy campaign from Kellog's taking place in Canada and it is back this year with a few changes. The previous campaign was limited to Hasbro toys with Transformers shown on the cereal boxes, but now it is just a generic "Free toy". What will be obtained is a Toy/Game coupon that can be redeemed at most major Canadian retailers that sells toys or games.

The toy's value cannot exceed $10. Another coupon is available where you can get $10 off a purchase of $25 or more. You choose which coupon you want on the website. Another big difference with the previous campaign is that now you need to have 2 pin numbers from 2 cereal boxes to get one coupon. It was previously one coupon per box.

Below is all the info needed including the cereals that are part of this campaign:

In order to receive this Promotion, you must purchase two (2) of the following specially-marked packages of Kellogg’s* ready-to-eat cereals available at all retailers in Canada while supplies last:
Corn Pops* 515gm
Froot Loops* 580gm
Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes* 650gm
Rice Krispies* 640gm
Mini-Wheats* 700gm
Mini-Wheats* Brown Sugar Flavour 700gm

Each specially-marked package listed above will contain one (1) PIN Code printed on the inside of the package. You must then enter two (2) PIN Codes online at www.kelloggs.ca/toy during the Promotion Period and while supplies last, along with your full name, email address and mailing address, and your selection of which coupon you would like to receive (as described below) (a “Valid Request”). Once the Promotion Period is over or the supplies of Coupons are exhausted, whichever comes first, you will be notified that the Promotion is closed before having to provide any personal information.

Offer expires Jan. 15, 2018; while supplies last.
Purchase two specially-marked Kellogg’s cereal products and redeem two unique PIN Codes at www.kelloggs.ca/toy to receive either:
(a) one coupon for a Free Toy or Game valued at $10.00, inclusive of applicable taxes ("Free Coupon"). Maximum of 50,000 Free Coupons available;
OR
(b) one coupon for $10.00 off the purchase of a Toy or Game valued at $25.00 or more, before applicable taxes ("$10.00 Off Coupon"). Maximum of 90,000 $10.00 Off Coupons available.
Limit of three coupons per mailing address.
Coupons expire March 31, 2018. Internet access required.
Must be 18 years or older.
Available for Canadian shipping addresses only.
Not responsible for any lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged shipments.
Visit www.kelloggs.ca/toy for more details.

I predict there's going to be a lot of cereal going through the William James household soon.

I feel like this wouldn't be legal in the US since we have laws against using toys to sway buying habits. Books, clothing, sporting goods and contests for expensive trips are fine, but heaven forbid trying to give out toys to kids. Yet somehow fast food toys are fine. I'm sure they found a nice loophole there.
