Hey fellas, as you know the new '08 Bumblebee is slowly coming to stores and are readily becoming available. Now I like to save my gas, so I always call the local stores before hand. Now my goal is to nab one at Toys R US. Why? Because I have a $5 gift card and the deluxes are on sale this week for $7.99.

My question is, what is one way you can tell the difference between the 77 and 08 Bumblebee without obviously showing them a picture of the two?

It can be anything, UPC's, SKU's, Manufacture #'s, or specific store item #'s.The genius didn't change anything in the name, and it's still Bumblebee Autobot so the customer service ladies always get confused

I found one way to distinguish them. To look for the package with the car, and no missiles.It's hard to ask them to find the car without the missiles, because then (for me anyways) I have to explain what the missiles are, and then it's revealed that he had a Cyber stomping Bumblebee the whole time and then she reveals that they don't have any more Deluxe Bumblebees
So please help me, '08 BB looks sick

check on the back of the package card, his vehicle mode should be a 2008 Camaro. Also the actual toy has a slightly deeper shade of yellow.

I know about the more goldish color, but the 2008 Camaro title could work.

yep. it says classic camaro on the 74 BB.

When your buying 1974 Deluxe it has 2 Plasma Cannons on the the top, with the 2008 Deluxe it just has a 2008 Camaro.
