Hasbro Applies for Trademarks for Omega Supreme, Vector Prime and CD

Three Transformers relaed Trademark renewals have popped up and are listed below:

Mark: TRANSFORMERS
For: Pre-recorded CDs and DVDs featuring music

Mark: OMEGA SUPREME
For: Toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual toy forms

Mark: VECTOR PRIME
For: Toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual toy forms

One of the trademarks is for a CD and there is not much info to speculate from that. The other two though are for transforming toys. Omega Supreme is extremely telling since we know it is an upcoming Titan Class figure either in 2018 or 2019 (Scorponok is already renewed for the Robots in Disguise figure).

As for Vector Prime, it is hard to tell when this toy is expected to come out and which line he is for. From previous trademark applications, it could be up to one or two years before a toy is revealed/released (both Rook and Overload were trademarked in April 2014). What is interesting though is that Vector Prime is one of the thirteen Primes and the current toys are all part of a Prime Wars trilogy. You are free to speculate beyond that (and encouraged to) on the boards!

Maybe someone at hasbro was browsing the TR thread here and took us up on our idea of eeking out a quick repaint of A3 as V/P :-?

This could easily also be a platinum reissue of the Cybertron toy with Titanium fallen to fill the hole of missing Primes in the Prime Wars Trilogy.

Still excited ? :-D

They were both solid toys, and I think I would prefer the sturdy cybertron version to any new thin'n'flimsy figure with minimal to non-existent paint apps, but we'll see, I'd like it to be a remold (swap out the lion head for a different animal maybe + new head) of Alpha Trion

Hasbro did say they would only make repaints which make sense. Which I find funny since it hints that it previously wasnt the case.

My bet is Vector being the poster boy for the third part of prime wars...With maybe the rest of the primes to follow spread across the size classes where it makes sense.

New Vector Prime and Omega Supreme toys would be great, though (assuming a Titan class Omega is being made) I don't know whether I should buy Fortress Maximus or skip it and wait for Omega, because I don't want to end up with too many enormous Titan figures.

I'd love to have toys of at least some of the Thirteen, mainly the Fallen and Onyx. Nexus can easily be done as retools of some Combiner Wars moulds (and really I'm surprised that didn't happen during Combiner Wars). News that a trademark for Vector has been renewed is good to hear!

if they made VP into a headmaster.... what would the the head master be named or look like? would they base it off of VP's holographic avatar shown here https://www.facebook.com/AskVectorPrime ... 077916498/ which is based on the 3rd Doctor, John Pertwee, or would they go a separate route?

Chances are decent they'd just base it off of his Cybertron Mini-con, Safeguard, like how the upcoming Scourge and Blurr's Titanmasters are based on their G1 Targetmasters, or how the upcoming Optimus has a noggin-buddy based on his G1 Powermaster.

It's unknown if he'll actually be a headmaster. Other than this we have no information to go on. We don't know if he'll debut in the third part of the prime wars or titan returns or if he'll even turn up in rid.

He did turn up in RID. He was in episode 25 of season 1, voiced by Troy Baker.
