How to kinda fix Menasor's crappy shoulders (no disassembly required)

So I was sitting here, thinking about how crappy Motormaster's torso mode held together, and a potential solution dawned on me: tiny glue dots. I put one inside the tab, and three more on the bottom of Motormaster's forearm, and lined them up so they would stick to the shoulders, and folded the shoulders up like you normally would. While it will come out if you pull on it hard enough, it won't fall out if you so much as look at it funny.

Hope I helped! :D

It'll cost a little, but nonnef has a nice 3p piece for this issue - only for menasor though, I've heard decent things about the shoulder piece

I don't currently have the funds for that, and when I get more money, it will go to more important stuff, so I thought I would share this for those in my situation.

Not sure if you've seen them, but they are only $10

I have seen them, and I don't have that much spare money.

If you come up with a free way to fix his hips, now you're talking.

(I'm aware of various alternate transformations to try and accomplish that, but I mean, something other than replacement ratchets for the offical leg config)

Pretty sure I saw something like that somewhere on the boards, but I can't remember where. I think what you had to do was unscrew the upper legs and turn the gear upside down, so that the teeth built into the leg are up against the flat side of the gear. Be wary, as it's kinda loose in combiner mode.
