I received mine today. Still undecided whether or not I am keeping it yet. Just wanted to let the rest of the community know.

WOW!!!

When was this announced that Walmart was carrying the Hasbro G1 reissues? Is this a one figure special or will there be more? I'd say many of us might be interested in the answer. Granted I already have a Ultra Magnus reissue from Takara.

That's just great. Now I need to convince Walmart to give me back my freaking shipping fee FOR $18. Can you give us an update on how your return goes if you do bring it back? Maybe some tips on what angle I should use to get back my shipping as well?

Just tell them when you take it to the store that you called the 1-800 number and they said the store would refund your money for the item + shipping. They won't be happy about it because it's more work for them but they will do it.

Damn. I ordered it too, but I already have this figure. You are perfectly justified returning it because it is different than what was pictured (short stacks and long missles).

I will be returning mine. I wonder if I should just refuse delivery. Does anyone think I'll get a full refund if I do?

I'm actually wanting a G1 Ultra Magnus, I've got alot of reissue G1 stuff but not this guy.

How is the Hasbro one? Is it worth getting if you can't find a Takara version?

Weird, I wonder how many other reissue are sitting in a stock room some where.

I don't know what's more amazing: The fact Wal-Mart lists a re-issue Ultra Magnus for $90 or the fact that Wal Mart is carrying an Ultra Magnus reissue.

Not for ninety dollars. I'll pass.

Nearly $100 for a butchered reissue of Ultra Magnus? I'll pass. I'm severely dissappointed. I was hoping for a decent figure for that amount of money. You can get MISB American UM's for like what $50 on Ebay and online toy sites? What a rip off.

Other than the none firing extended missles and the short stacks, is anything else different to the Takara version?

Um, no. But if you actually find an original for that cheap, I'll buy a few. He usually goes for $300 from what I've seen, as well as G1 Galvatron MISB.

Now we know what it is. I wonder if the price will come down a bit.

Wait $90 for that? Holy crap! I know its not being made anymore but $90 is way to much. Theres no point in even puting it on ebay. I doubt youd get $90 for it.

Does anyone know how widely distributed these will be? i hope a few jump the pacific and shed some of that price along the way...

90 is just ludicrous. One could get a complete G1 for near that amount.......

darn I spit out $100 for that...I will definitely get a refund.

Would never have suspected that Walmart the giant would actually follow the footsteps of someone else. I was almost expecting a new sticker ( Toys R Us exclusive ) 8+)

Ouch on the price. And Walmart had bet against Transformers for toy sales.

I was afraid of that. I have that one already and I paid half of that for it a few years ago. $90 for that is nuts.

Mine came in this mornning and I had standard shipping. That was really quick. Too bad it wasn't what I expected. There will be on at the Wal-Mart in Carrollton tonight.
