Cool your jets, the site has autocensor, so any bad word is censored and nothing needs to be done, no need to get your panties in a bunch.

Auto-censor doesn't actually censor posts when someone is looking at them via the news article "comment sections", only when you're actually viewing them on the boards, just for future reference. You can see that when you scroll down on the article page. So it wasn't censored to the majority of people who saw it. Not trying to pick a fight, just sharing info.

Definitely something for me to address with the site redesign I'm working on currently.

You might have saved on that item, but you gave them plenty of money from other general merchandise items or grocery items you've bought from those stores at other times. Every buy soda from Walmart? Walmart sells soda at some of the highest retail prices compared to your local grocery store or Target. So you might have gained a buck on the Transformer toy you bought from them, but lost a buck on a 12 pack of soda. It's just the games of retail stores.

Don't hold it over Hasbro's head that they sold a product at MSRP and offered free shipping if you spent $49 or more and have a sale going on right now to boot. Seems like a pretty good deal.

I am not collecting the deluxes for TR, but last time I took notice of price they were all $10. Also I rarely purchase soda, but if I do, its only when its on sale (usually $1.00 for a 2 liter +CRV). My wife does all the grocery shopping, and while she is not one of those "extreme coupon" people (she did that for a year and got burned out), she does make the most of our budget.

I'm not saying HTS is horrible for everyone, I can imagine there are many places that don't get these toys in stock for various reasons, its just that naturally I'm going to go with my best option whatever that is. Also Btw...Target's normal price for leaders currently is $40.99, again that's normal, not sale price.

It's odd how these prices fluctuate so much. As much as I like CW, I do recognize there was much less diversity, and yet the price points for each class kept going up, whereas with TR, which seems to be *generally* more liked by the fandom, has more Variety, and yet prices on some items seems to be going down. I guess its good for those who are really into this line, and find them plentiful. I thought wave 3 deluxes were gone as quickly as they came, but last week several Walmarts in my area got them back in stock again. I contemplated getting a couple Breakaways to sell on eBay, but then decided against it.

we have all been through this before. remember when henkei thrust, dirge and thundercracker were going for $100 plus. then the glorious, transformers generations line arrived, thundercracker, dirge and thrust for $15.00. plus an entire line of new moulds like tracks, kupp, scourge and warpath, if you could find them. so we got scared and preordered our voyager class springer and blitzwing only to find them on store shelves before the online retailers.

Well at least for me it worked out. Found all 3 deluxes freshly stocked at TRU and got them all for $36 (one was a gift) so yeah! Worked out.

bottom line for me (not you), triggerhappy, wolfwire and mindwipe are great figures but they are not limited edition, club exclusive or third party. they are standard distribution, carded hasbro products. if hasbro cannot get them on the pegs at my local stores then too bad for me and too bad them. after combiner wars $22 is too much for figures manufactured for the purpose of re-purposing and re-molding and re-painting. if i don not find these toys on shelves soon, i will find them in plastic sandwich bags at the bottom of a plastic bin at the next con i attend.

I forgot to mention this but $17 is the MSRP as can be seen on the official site: http://transformers.hasbro.com/en-us/pr ... 4D93BF9BE2
Other retailers can do as they wish of course since its only sugested but it's not like hasbro is selling it for more than the price they suggest makes sense. Sure, I understand wanting a discount from the supplier, but then why not walk into an apple store and ask for that there too? ;)

Nooooooooooooo, I bought a 3 12 packs of dr pepper from them.
While I couldnt tell looking at the price of the pack (I had not shopped around), I did notice that their individual 500 ml bottles (plastic narrow individual bottles, I dont know the oz conversion) were quite expensive. I mean the dollar store sells them for a dollar while Walmart sells them in those fridges near the cash for almost $2. I was wondering how the dollar store could get them so cheap but now I know that its just Walmart making a big margin.
Thanks for the details!

Ah, and now I feel dumb  I remember Burn telling us the system was in place so we wouldnt have to worry about it, didnt know about that and I hope I didnt offend people. I will just put actual stars next time, or maybe not swear at all ;) Thanks for letting me know Bronzewolf!

But, in some ways, superior to their contender. RiD was smashing combiner wars at this time last year

P.S. Apparently due to the high demand for him, he's limited to 3 copies per household.

I dont think its a conspiracy. Sales are often used to clear out old stock and make room for new stock. I think this is what happened here. Suprised this isnt seen as bigger news, I think its the first time these are available for sale in the US.

Mortals beware! The Titans Return Leader class "Six Shot" is now available to be ordered through HasbroToyShop.com! There is no discount code, but they offer free shipping for any order over $19. And since Six Shot is a leader, he more than meets that threshold. If you want this figure and can't find it in stores, act fast through HTS before they're gone!

Does anybody actually think the 'wolf' mode looks good?

I think it looks decent enough. If you happen to get Sixshot for a future video review, make sure you show the unofficial 7th “wingwolf” mode ;)

BBTS New Preorder Listing Announcement - Titans Return Titan Class Trypticon & Movie 5 Items

PostPosted: Wed May 31, 2017 10:51 pm
by william-james88
Below we have new listings from BBTS with hot anticipated items like Titan Class Trypticon.
Let us know if you will be preordering any of these toys!

TRYPTICON

Trypticon will destroy everything and devour everyone in his path. The Titan Class Trypticon figure is the largest figure in the 2017 Titans Return universe and is also the biggest Decepticon figure ever made. The towering T-Rex converts between 3 different modes: dino, spaceship, and city. When the figure is in city mode, it connects to Titans Return Leader Class figures (each sold separately) to form the giant Nemesis Command. When the figure is in T-Rex mode, it can "eat" Titan Master figures: Trypticon can chomp them down, then you can open his stomach to get them out. This item is priced at $149.99.

RC SQWEEKS

Autobot Sqweeks RC features motion and sound effects that will inspire fans to want to shout “Chihuahua,” like the loveable Autobot Amigo. Prepare this Autobot Sqweeks RC figure for battle by switching him into blaster mode with a movie-inspired blaster accessory. Or activate an energetic boogie-down with music and phrases in dance mode. This item is priced at $84.99.

DRAGONSTORM

Unleash Dragonstorm's Cyberfire lights to discover more than meets the eye. Inspired by the iconic fire-breathing movie action, this Dragonstorm figure features Cyberfire tech to reveal hidden symbols on 1-Step Turbo Changer figures. Activate and then shine the LED Cyberfire lights located in the dragon’s mouth directly onto 1-Step Turbo Changer figures and watch hidden symbols emerge. This item is priced at $84.99.

LEADER OPTIMUS PRIME AND MEGATRON

In Transformers: The Last Knight, new heroes rise to forge a future for all. Optimus Prime faces evil in all its forms, emerging as an immovable force of justice. As his fiercest rival returns, he again raises his sword in battle against Megatron. Case of two priced at $99.99.

$99 for two leader class. Well at least they aren't $85, or whatever the conversion from the UK price was.

$50 each is a $5 increase, which the deluxes also got, so whatever I guess. It could have been a bigger hike.
