Upscaling

So we all remember those Beast Hunters upscales right? Well, despite their utter failure, a line of upscaled molds could actually work using the right ones. Which molds would you guys want upscaled?

None. But I would like to see the Leader class Seekers downsized to Voyager.

I'll get this one out of the way: Prime Legends Class Airachnid. It's articulated better than the Deluxe figure, somehow. I'm sure there are other Legends Class figures that would work, too, but I'm straining to think of another that's superior to its larger counterpart.
Well, there's Legends RTS Megatron, but we know that'll never happen.

Well, blame gun laws for that

The BH Upscales and Generations Cyber series did do a decent job with what they had, but can't really decide on any figure except for Legion Clamp Down. He'd surely benefit from upscaling.

When in doubt, just say Hardshell.

You'd be better off upscaling the classic seekers to Voyager. There's part of that leader mold that scares me at leader size, any smaller it would be a real problem.

CW Shockwave anyone? Or just me?

That would be fantastic. Also, yes on upscaling the Classics deluxe Seeker mold. It would be a great way to "refresh" that mold and still have a fantastic G1 faithful Seeker mold to work with.

Provided that we're talking about a "proper" upscale (so adding extra engineering, paint apps, articulation etc as opposed to literally directly upscaling the mold) I can think of a few.
In terms of CHUG scale, the Classics Seeker mold would benefit from being a Voyager class. If it were there might be room for thigh and bicep swivels amongst other things. WFC Megatron would be awesome in Voyager class too. In fact if they did that I'd buy him instantly. Probably. Maybe. RTS Laser Prime really needed to be a voyager (though I'd only be down for it if he came with a tanker trailer, or if Maketoys made a new and updated battle tanker)...in fact, pretty much every single Deluxe scale Prime or Megatron could benefit from being a Voyager.
In terms of Legends, Prime Hardshell goes without saying. I'd like to see the Generations Legends Starscream, Prime (and his redecos) and Megatron have proper upscales (but not like those awful Cyber Series things thank you very much)- their transformation schemes would work perfectly for larger figures.

Thirded. I really do like the FOC Shockwave, and it's my "classics" version, but the arm gun is just a tad wonky(though it is game accurate, or at least mentioned, been awhile since I played it). But truly the CW version is superior in just about every way, barring the hollow back legs. Other thoughts:
-DOTM Guzzle. His small stature is true to the G1 incarnation, but I'd like a deluxe sized version, and the transformation/articulation is pretty good.
-DOTM Hatchet. Perfectly sized as is yes, but hey I'd enjoy a deluxe version.
-Animated Activators Starscream/Seeker mold. Hey it's an older mold but arguably better than the Voyager figure.

Utter faillure, WTF?! Have you actually held Upscale Predaking in hand? Its the best predaking we got from the entire Prime line. He was a voyager as big as the ultimate version so you got loads of value for the price point:

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Predaking (2014) GalleryI recomend this upscaled toy to anyone.
As for stuff I want, Prime Hardshell as well as Universe Dinobot and Galvatron would be ideal.
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:The BH Upscales and Generations Cyber series did do a decent job with what they had, but can't really decide on any figure except for Legion Clamp Down. He'd surely benefit from upscaling.
But that clampdown has horrible articulation and I would very much want him to have claws if her were made bigger.

Yup, I would have preffered those upscaled over the voyager figures we got, thats for sure.

Pretty sure he meant failure as in the line didn't succeed, not that the figures weren't decent.

You can't really speak of failures if the line was never meant to be released wholesale in the US to begin with. As an experiment it did rather well, though they picked the wrong base figures for Bumblebee and Smokescreen. The new weapons were nice tho.

I'd like to see a Voyager-class version of Cybertron Unicron. Even though there's people out there who didn't like the line (I'm not one of them) I'm pretty sure they'd enjoy this figure.

Well when I saw the CGI model for it, I originally though he was a Voyager-class. Still a great figure though.

Ooh ooh! And maybe Scalpel! Kinda pointless, but make him a life-size microscope, which would also make him the same size as he was in the movie.

Ya know, if they fixed the legs, I'd be all for it. Not a bad idea for a figure but it is nigh impossible to stand proper.

How about CW Bombshell and Generations Shrapnel? That way all the Insecticons are the same size.

Dark of the Moon Voyager Megatron could do with the added complexity room of Leader class (and also having a version that size. But noooo, Hasbro had to make a Leader-class Bumblebee -which managed to be less accurate than the Deluxe- instead.)
The Fallen could also do with a Leader figure, or better yet something between Leader and Supreme (unless they could pull a Cybertron Metroplex and have him taller than Optimus while being Leader)

People have p much already said the big ones I'd like (classics seekers, cw shockwave, legends insecticons), so I'm kinda struggling to think here.
Actually, wait, no. Basically any deluxe Megatron - wfc, generations, classics g2. Titans Return is coming out with what looks like my ideal megsy but those would still be incredible. Wfc Optimus too I suppose.
It'd be cool if the rid legion toys could be generations legends size. I'd quite like a cheap Strongarm that isn't puny in the face of friggin Windcharger.
What else, what else... Uhhhh... Universe Tankor so all three decepticon triple changers could be voyager? I guess? Maybe cw powerglide in deluxe... There's probably someone really significant I'm forgetting. There's a lot of great figures I'd like rescaled honestly.

Oh yeah, what if they Voyager-scaled Classics Laser Prime, "Tornado Punch Prime" (though maybe have the legs retract for a better vehicle mode) or any other deluxe class Prime. For some reason they almost always end up shorter than nearly every other deluxe!
*Edit* Ah scrolling up I saw my choices were more or less already brought up. Ok, so what Deluxe Prime deserves an upscale the most? I still say Classics Laser Prime because the mold is good as is, the sword makes him unique, and hey hypothetical Scourge repaint.

Laser Prime would be great if he were upscaled. Myself though I'd like to see a Voyager class upscale of Armada "Bendy" Optimus Prime. He's really poseable even by today's standards (balljointed ankles!) and he has an awesome design.

Generations Thunderwing too. The size works for his black shadow repaint, but not Thunderwing himself.
