Only 49 left, act quick people!

What I find weird about this is that Target had sold out of these online. I highly doubt that if they knew they had more, they wouldnt list em. I think this was a warehouse mishap and it was easier to just give it all to goodwill.

I'm not big on reissues, are these figures good enough to display with modern figures without looking weird?

Not really, unless you display all your figures looking straight and having theyr arms hanging down straight. If you arent into G1, I dont think these would sway you.

I've displayed them like that as a goof once, ha! But you're probably right. Peceptor is intriguing to me, but I'll maybe just try to snag a cheap loose one sometime.

Yeah, I'm in the same spot. I have FOC Blaster, and I'm perfectly happy with him (I know it's not technically G1, but whatever.) I just don't need Blaster, but God, do I want that Preceptor. He's one of my favorite bots, and I've never been been able to pick up a figure of him, due to various circumstances.
Hasbro, why U no make new Perceptors :BANG_HEAD:
Related question to anyone out there who owns the FT Tesla, is he worth it? What are your thoughts on him?

Might be worth it just for Perceptor.

For comparison.

Also, this perceptor comes with new accessories made to work with the G1 mold. Those are exclusive to this release. A complete G1 perceptor (with non firing missiles) will cost more than this, as Cary pointed out.

That's right. I remember reading somewhere on seibertron that he comes with some fun slides. I'm tempted, just hard to justify for my particular collection. Wonder how well the little titanmasters fit in his tank mode.

I bought this set today at this price, which is extremely hard to pass up. It's just a lot of Transformers for $44 shipped. It's the only Platinum reissue set from 2015 that I don't have yet. What would have really sold me on this set to buy it immediately is if they had FINALLY remolded Perceptor's head/face to be cartoon accurate, instead of dinking around with some silly slides that (I assume) most people don't care about (nice novelty feature, but do something special for people who already own multiple versions of these toys). Cartoon accurate Blaster head would have been fun as well, but not as necessary as Perceptor. The ultimate G1 Blaster head would be a special one that had a retractable visor so that you could do vintage toy/comic book look or cartoon accurate. One day!

I'm sure the MP line will get around to Blaster eventually. Let's just hope they don't go the lazy route and re-tool Soundwave (seems to be the deployer trend).

I think Will did a review on this set and pointed that out.

The fact that it hasnt been done yet tells me that they wont go this route. The MP line has had a lot of redecos, but all have been of characters and toys that are literal redecos (I ddnt know there were that many though).

Where did the pictures originally come from? Can't we restore them from their original source?

They were uploaded from my camera to the site and I then deleted them from my camera. So there are no more picks of the slides and of that mechanism/feature online since no other review had covered it.

I bought CW Cyclonus yesterday at full price so it will not suddenly dissapear in case of a sale. I held on the receipt in case a sale will come up. It once was at 15$ but I guess 22$ is better than nothing. I'll get my partial refund tommorrow.

With the recent talk of TRU Canada having some good prices I decided to check TRU US. Not much there but Goatimus Prime is on sale(still, I believe?). About 80 bucks shipped.

It's been a long while since Goatimus is 100$CAN over here too. I guess the price will never get lower than that. :/

An ebay seller has factory sealed Clampdowns for 50$. It would be too soon for this to be a KO.
