Consider it confirmed, but still YMMV.

Not every store has it marked down, but using brickseek.com I saw a couple that did and was close to one today. Now here is where it get's tricky. In the Walmart app Jetfire shows up as "check store for price" at the stores that brickseek shows at $45. The store I visited didn't have a shelf tag, but brickseek was showing two in stock. I checked the toy section and the clearance aisle. No Jetfire to be found. I'm a little hard headed and found my Jetfire on a bottom shelf nowhere near the TF section. So I cruised all the toy aisles and spotted a pallet that was being worked and some of the boxes were marked with "new shelf location" what have you markings. Wanna guess what one of those boxes were? An unopened full case of two Jetfires. Popped the tape and checked the price. $45!

Now to return that Jetfire tomorrow using my original receipt :ic$: Image

Good luck and happy hunting ;)^

Thanks for the tip! I didn’t know about Brickseek.

Several Walmart Stores Discounting Siege Jetfire to $45

While there was a few supposed one off sightings, there is a clear trend now of several Walmart stores in the US severely discounting the recently released Transformers war for Cybertron Siege commander class Jetfire. We have a receipt below coming from fellow Seibertronian Carytheone where we see proof of the toy being purchased for $45 US, half off the original price.

Carytheone details how he found that below, and for those wondering, it was only possible with the help of brickseek.com which shows which Walmarts are offering this toy at such a low price. It is far from being all Walmarts, so check brickseek before wasting a trip and being dissapointed.

FWIW I was able to get Target to price match the Walmart price since Walmart does advertise it on their site at $45. It took quite a bit of persistence on my part, but I was able to get it for $52. They charged me tax on the full price, but it's still a great deal. Especially since there are no Walmarts near me.

His MSRP is $79.99, so not quite half off, but still an amazing deal.

I went to where I’d found my Jetfire and they had the sale tag but no Jets, no Fires, only tears...and a few moths flying out of my wallet...and they too were crying...but I think that was just more an issue with their captivity not genuine emotion. I don’t even know how they keep getting in there.

Always pays to be patient on the high price point Transformers. Next deal to look for...$80 Omega Supreme, likely on Amazon, if their past Titan class pricing and promotions is any indication. Keep those eyes peeled. :ic$:

Totally! I’m not jumping on Omega yet I’m going to wait and hope for a sale. I’ve been mad about Siege so the waiting is the hardest part

I feel like this happened so fast, I wonder why? Something to do with retailers trying to clear things out for a Holiday haul? Or was it Hasbro's call to do this?

Someone on the Siege thread probably nailed it. Retail just doesn't have the space for it. The store I found two at for $45 were still in an unopened box with no shelf space allotted. From checking the WM app and brickseek, I keep seeing more and more stores drop the price. Could be a little column a, a little column b. Clear this thing out that we don't have space for because of the holidays.

I returned Jetfire to a store today that didn't have any in stock and they told me "good thing you have a receipt" - it rang up at $45. I'm going to guess this is going to be a nationwide price point at WMs.

I guess the commander class is going to have the same fate as titan class at retail. I remember at some point, stores didn't even have a spot for various line's leader class.

This is like the biggest price cut in the Siege line so far right? Or gosh it at least feels like the best deal Siege has seen yet. :-D He’s so cool! You all should snag him if able.

By sheer amount, yes, I believe the $35 (about 43%) discount is definitely the biggest. By percentage, no, the mistake price of $9.99 for the deluxe wave 1 on HasbroToyShop (back when they existed) and wave 2 briefly on Hasbro Pulse were be greatest at 50%.

Nope. I called them to price match via online order.

I'm really surprised people were even able to find Jetfire at Walmart to get him on sale. My two local WMs got in one case each, sold them out instantly, and never restocked. Didn't stop them from putting clearance stickers up all the same.

BTW, that HLJ Autumn sale has some really good Transformers prices.

Is it just me, or is HLJ site kind of a pain to navigate though? Doesn't seem to be an easy way to see just *Transformers on sale*, and you have to click on each item just to see its price and if it's in stock...or am I missing something?

It's always been a pain like that.

I know. I checked four Walmarts right after the clearance news got out - no dice.

If there's anyone who wants the Transformers Authentics Bravo figures, my local Walgreens had them in the seasonal aisle at buy two, get one free, so yours might also. I picked up Starscream, Megatron, and Grimlock. Grimlock would be decent for the price if his arms didn't suck in both modes, and there were enough reviews of Megatron and Starscream way back when that I don't think I need to say anything (though I'm kinda surprised how poseable they are for the price).

Target Offers $10 off $50 and $25 off $100 on all Toys Including Omega Supreme

Target is jumping into the holiday toy sales early! In the latest ad circular boasting their Top Toys sale, aside from some decent non-Transformers deals they've also included a pair of coupons that can be used on nearly any toy purchase in-store and without the coupon online. And these aren't the usual coupons that grant you a gift card to use later, these are instant savings! Spend at least $50 and you'll get $10 off; spend $100 or more and they'll take $25 right off the total! And yes, that includes Omega Supreme who is currently available on the website for a sweet $135 after the coupon. The coupons last all week, but it's always best to act fast.

But that's not all! It's almost Halloween and the ad includes a third coupon offering a quick $5 off a $30 or more purchase in their "Hyde and Eek! Boutique" making some of those expensive Transformers costumes just a bit easier on the wallet. This one also works instantly online.
