Between a Ross and Bealls Outlet next to each other I found ultra class Shockwave, Starscream, Bumblebee, Grimlock and Alpha Trion. I already had Shockwave and didn't want SS or BB so I got Grimlock (better than I expected) and Alpha Trion (at least he looks cool). Didn't find Slipstream though but Amazon had her cheap the other day and picked her up then. I also found a bunch of one step figures from the BB movie. The Tuesday Morning next to them had nothing unfortunately. Usually they're a place that has some good finds from time to time but nothing good this time. I didn't try the TJMaxx that's in that area as it's across the road and the traffic light between the two shopping centers is really annoying. The parking lot sucks to drive though as well. So it's usually not worth it for me to bother with that particular TJMaxx.

How is it surprising that the absolute crappiest toys end up at the discount stores? You don't see any of the good stuff showing up there like Generations or Studio Series. Just the garbage no sane person would waste their money on.

I've seen Combiner Wars Voyagers, TLK Premier Editions, Amazon exclusives, TR Deluxes and now PotP Legends at Ross alone, not to mention Trypticon has popped up at some. The SS Bumblebee Then and Now 2-pack and on a lesser note, Power Rangers Movie Zords were found at Burlington Coat Factory for dirt cheap, so they do get good stuff now and again >:oP

It's much less a question of what's good or bad, but rather what remains unsold vs. what's actually produced. At the moment, Siege Sixgun and Shockwave are shelfwarming being re-releases in later waves, and Walmart's Bluestreak isn't exactly moving in my area either, so expect those to hit clearance or otherwise pop up in those stores in a few months.

Meanwhile the 35th line didn't show up at all at my local Walmarts. No display and nothing on the shelves. Glad I got mine off the website.

First off there's the whole "eye of the beholder" thing, this line does have its fans and even non fans like myself have found a few figures worth owning. But it's really only surprising because it's rare to see anything at T.J.Maxx in these numbers, let alone Transformers. At best they might stock a case or two of Voyagers or some random Deluxes, but this is stock on par with Walmart or Target, it's practically unheard of for them.

Both Walmart and Target have heavily scaled back the amount if Transformer merchandise they carry. I'm guessing discount stores/chains getting large shipments us going to ne common for awhile.

Why is that, do we know?

It's almost impossible to buy Siege figures in UK stores, as an aside. If you aren't there in the initial week you'll never know when or where stock will turn up.

Cyberverse of every class is staggeringly overpriced here too. So loads of those are now showing up in discount stores, still wildly overpriced. And still shelf warming! There's also loads of PotP and TR figures, but all the ones you'd expect as the fans weren't impressed.

After that it's all the leftover nasty figures covering the last two movies. Again, often still overpriced.

G1 Soundwave and his Cassettes Have Started to Hit Clearance

Great news to anyone who held off, the Walmart exclusive reissue of Soundwave has been priced for clearanced at some Walmarts. The sighting below comes from our friend Ironhidensh who is in Indiana. Clearance is at the store level and not nation wide so it could be that your Walmart keeps the same price or is already sold out of Soundwave. The clearance price here is $30. The cassette packs are also being clearanced. Their price is $11. That's 40-45% off the original prices.

If you find them at those prices in your area, please let other fans know in our boards right here.

I find this odd. Any time Soundwave or the cassettes showed up at my local Walmart, they wouldn't last a week. I guess there were gluts in other parts of the country.

The reduced Frenzy/Laserbeak pack torments me.

My area did get a pretty good supply in eventually, but they did all sell out

The cassettes were 20?!? My local Walmart just recently stocked them for 600MXN, which translate to ~30! :BANG_HEAD:

This is most likely due to Astrotrain starting to hit shelves, which was just reported elsewhere. Brace yourselves: it's 50 bucks too! I can't wait for the arguements over its value to ensue.

Glad I read this before leaving the house tonight. Managed to snag all three for these prices. Got the last Soundwave, he'll be going on the shelf (next to the TRU double chest version), but the tapes are staying on the cards since I already have all of these a few times over.

Ohio / Michigan nerds, Meijer has the Botbots Arcade Renegades packs on sale for $12. I grabbed the last #6 at the nearest store, but a more enterprising reseller could still get a full set across a couple packs and unload the extras for a profit.

Works in Illinois and Indiana too. If anyone wants to try this route for a complete set and number 6 isn't there, you will want to pair up sets 1 and 2, or 3 and 4.

Amazon Prime Siege Exclusives on sale:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PZ ... UTF8&psc=1

Fan-Vote 3-Pack $50
Autobot Alphastrike $35

Greenlight & the Decepticon Phantomstrike set are nowhere to be found on Amazon....better get these while you can if interested.

There are a few other assorted Siege figures with pretty good discounts if you search Transformers Siege

Thanks for this, I'm keeping my eye on Galactic Man Shockwave. I passed at full price, but if he drops low enough I mike bite.

I find it amusing that so many 3rd party sellers are tying to sell the Generations Selects line that Amazon themselves aren't carrying. Pretty much all of them would run you more than ordering from Pulse (assuming you can get free shipping), except for Galactic Man, he's at about $35 shipped from the lowest option.

Still not low enough for me to bite, but getting close.

Steal of a Deal - Transformers Siege Figures and Exclusives Up at Discount Prices at Amazon

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian o. supreme, we have word that Amazon.com is running some pretty good figures up for discounted prices, among which are several of the Amazon exclusive figure sets.

Up first, we have the Fan Vote 3-pack, which was originally priced at $69.99. The figure set is exclusive to Amazon, and is now priced at $50.41, a nearly 30% savings from the original price. The set contains the Holo-Mirage, Decepticon Impactor (with IDW head), and powerdasher Aragon.

Up next, we have the Autobot Alphastrike Counterforce, which was originally $49.99. This Amazon exclusive is also discounted, down to $35.35, an approximately 30% savings.

And finally, under the generic Siege search, we have several discounted figures, which include an Impactor for $13.50, a $15 Sixgun, and $27 Galactic Man Shockwave, among others.

check out the deals, and let us know if you spot any more great deals or if you pick up any of these figures below!

FYI - The cheapest Galactic Man Shockwave option for $27 also has $9 for shipping since it is from a 3rd party seller. Still the cheapest option I've seen yet.

This is awesome. $50 is still more than I want to pay for the group, but it certainly does make the Impactor/Mirage set more appealing.

And... done! I've just ordered them.

Thanks for the heads up!
