Steal of a Deal: $20 Earthrise Leaders Showing up at Ollie's

That's right, the title basically says it all. Thanks to Seibertronian EmoTim bringing this to our attention in the Energon Pub Forums! If you happen to be lucky enough to be in part of the USA with an Ollie's you could find yourself walking out with an Earthrise Leader for the super low price of $20! The deal can be found in the latest flyer dated for April 15. From Tim's own experience:

EmoTim wrote:Ollie's has a sale on Earthrise Leader Class figures for $19.99.

My local Ollie's had; Optimus Prime (WFC-E11) and Doubledealer (WFC-E23)

Definitely a deal worth looking into for those that can. Let us know in the forum what you find!

I found those at my Ollie's a month ago...guess I just assume it's always old news by the time I stumble across it.

Went to Ollie's today and grabbed myself one of each. Doubledealer is weird but with a little help can definitely replace my janky custom version, and I'm glad I got him at this price. They also had Bombshock & Growl for $5.99.

I actually got an Optimus Prime at Ollies for 19.99 last month. There was only one, so I didn't make a fuss about it. I plan to give it to my boy as a replacement for his now well worn Earthrise Prime.

It's super frustrating that Target is having a pretty good sale on Transformers, but of the 10 or stores in my area almost none of them have Kingdom, and only a few have SS. So much empty space, and Buzzworthy toys nobody asked for.

My local Targets have been a barren wasteland since early December. The shelves are usually totally empty. The Buzzworthy figures are the only thing they stock consistently, and while it usually sells, it takes up maybe half the deluxe pegs, and that's it. It totally baffling.

One did recently stock some voyagers, though, and my brother managed to snag a SS86 Hot Rod on sale, so that was nice.

TRU Canada might be handling it better, plus the fact I'm sure they keep most of the other lines in stock. It's like some Target exec decided their TF section will be 80% Buzzworthy, 10%SS and whatever is leftover, will be the other 10%, and ad a result, tons of empty shelves unless it's BB

Buzzworthy sold pretty well at my local Target, all there is is maybe 5 or 6 Deluxes after I picked up a 74BB Bumblebee a little over a week ago. Probably helps that I don't have multiple Targets in my area, there's only 5 Targets in my entire state spread along the 95 (a 6th one is being built at a former Kmart well off the interstate), so popular exclusives sell out fast if they get stocked at all. I've yet to see a WFC exclusive in store, had to get all of them off the website. My local store didn't get Scorponok either which tells you how poorly Target pays attention to the needs of their stores. A store that services many tens of square miles of people should be made a priority in keeping things in stock and receiving big ticket items compared to areas that have multiple stores they can spread stock around to.

They've definitely been a better seller than the Cyberverse exclusives, which is ironic because the Buzzworthy Cyberverse figures sold really well, too. 8-}

If anybody wants to come over to my neck of the woods and clear this stuff out, so hopefully we can get some more SS and Kingdom I'd be much obliged.

Sweet! same deal here, plus I had some unused Target Circle rewards to knock it just below $30 shipped.

Greetings, Transformer fans! Thanks to the efforts of two fellow Seibertronians, Dr. Caelus and EmoTim, we bring to you the news of a nice online sale at Target in the U.S. First, there's two Earthrise figures, Voyager Class Snapdragon, and Leader Class Doubledealer, both at a 50% off discount! This makes Snapdragon $13.49, and Doubledealer just $22.49. But the big deal is the relatively new Transformers/X-Men Collaborative Ultimate X-Panse figure, which is also 50% off, making this transforming X-Jet figure in its 90s style packaging just $32.49! This is an awesome deal on this figure, which only began shipping weeks ago.

You can order any of these by clicking on the pictures below. Snap them up while you can!

Theres no indication that selling the Buzzworthy toys in your area will result in target ordering more of the lines that are not Buzzworthy.

Yeah to me, that would get the opposite result.

It depends on location but it's clearly not the universal shelfwarmer many fans feared. Bumblebee and Optimus are the faces on the franchise, they sell.

For what it's worth, depending on where you are, your Target may not be stocking toys, or toys beyond kid-friendly stuff, because they don't want people shopping there. Pandemic and such.

If you have an Ollie's in your state, I suppose that's worth looking into. Not everyone does.

Fair enough. I don't know that you have Ollies in your state, but you might. I was just trying to help.
