Gotta say I'm jealous of a lot of the toy selections I'm seeing. I'm still looking for Sqweeks and Drift from the movie line but no dice!

Well Will, I have to say that Canada must have a lot better luck with 3 lines up to date. My trip yesterday was over the course of an entire day (mind you, civil service test was in there, but still lots of travelling) and my stores were no where near as good.

4 Walmarts
2 TRUs
1 Target
1 Walgreens

The walgreens had a Blurr and Skullsmasher. that was it.

The target had wave 1 TLK and a fresh wave 3 TR. no RiD save Windblade (the first one)

The 1 TRU had Infernocus. Both had the wave 4 Titan masters, but nothing past wave 2 of anything else (I saw Alpha Trion and Astrotrain). They only had wave 1 TLK anything, they both had Cybertron, none had MPM's or even their price tags, and the RiD shelves still had the Paralon and Bisk waves, nothing from combiner force save the team combiners.

The Walmarts had shelf-warming wave 1 TLK, wave 2/3 TR everything, and Stormshot wave RiD stuff.

there was nothing at any of those 8 stores more recent than the wave 4 titan masters and the team combiners/Infernocus. And most of these stores were in pretty significant population centers.

Also asked both TRU's if they had more TLK deluxes in back (really wanted to find deluxe Megs and Sqweeks) and they did: 2 more cases of wave 1...

That movie wave 1 being there is a drag. its also at my stores but at least we have wave 2 next to it. And while your stores arent stocked like mine you still have stuff we dont have such as:

team combiners at TRU (we only have them at walmart)
Wave 4 titan masters (have yet to be found in Canada)
Cybertron (I dont want it though)

But I still dont get why the word shelfwarming is used, its for toys that dont move even once the line is over. And the fact that they have so much wave 1 in your store and in the back means that they replenish the shelves with more wave 1. So the toys probably get bought but just get replenished with the same toys. Unless you are certain its the exact same boxes of wave 1 toys that were there 3 months ago, which I doubt.

Thanks for the update on your store situation though, it is very much appreciated and insightful. And you are gonna LOVE Sqweeks! Megatron isnt as great though, that mold hasnt aged well and feel much cheaper to the deluxes of today. Makes me feel much better about choosing this new Krok over the club one.

I can confirm that the same Chromedome and Breakaway are occupying the one walmart. The same TLK are warming the pegs at all 4 walmarts (they still have 16+ sitting on the top shelf!) And the RiD stuff is consistent since it is the older Windblade in most. The one store has mostly weaponsizer stuff still

I suppose I should make a post in Cry & Brag.

But around my parts all the stores have mostly ditched the higher end stuff and much of the lower end - the conclusion is that most store around me.

have decided to stock ONLY the following.

TLK Wave 1 Legion & One steps (Dlxs I've seen twice) Voyagers or Leader I've yet to see except Voyagers wave 1 twice on a cardboard unit that they sold out and then never gave more space to them in two larger stores and only full price.

Warrior class has vanished and I've not seen a single toy since a refresh wave some months ago - I was lucky to even get a soundwave as I've not seen one since.

RID Legion has also vanished. TLK Legions sometimes show up in some supermarkets but so far only wave one. and not often.

No Titans Returns toys of any kind, no RID 3 steps or activators no Combiner force boxed sets.

Asda usually has RID One Steps and TLK One steps - nothing else - One store had an end cap with some Crash combiners on it and they 'sometimes' have Rescuebots.

The online sources are the only place I can get Titans Returns - I've not seen it on a shelf ever except in 1 Toymaster that sold the Voyagers and Legends class and had deluxe wave 3.

The typical overview is that most stores have expanded their lego section and reduced boys toys a lot - girls toys is now 3/4 of the range the remainder is baby toys and boys toys. most of the time that might be a few spider-man or super hero toys and a few hotwheels if you are lucky.

Even B&M has 4 1/2 isles of girls toys and 1 1/2 isle of boys toys and the vast majority of that is super hero toys and what isn't is toy guns, generic unbranded dinosaurs and a few toy cars.

At one point the Monsters High sections was twice the size of the entire boys toys section. they also had 6 shelf blocks of my little pony and they had one shelf of one shelf block of Transformers.. they have 7 shelf segments alone for just stuffed Super hero plush.
Other boys toys are not seen at all - Transformers is kinda lucky. they actually sell more toys of The Justice League than they do Transformers.

Is yes a good answer to that question? It's nice when I can see a store that's well stocked with plenty of Transformers that a person would like to have, but those aren't exactly free donation baskets. I'm not saying they don't need to be compensated for the work of meeting the supply, but I wish there was a way to get a bunch of the for wholesale. I know someone tried to help me before, but it sounds like over the head tech savvy talk.

Right now, I'm trying to remember how to transform my Deluxe class Robots in Disguise Windblade; and she's still not as loose as I'd like her to be when it comes to following certain steps. Her legs come up high enough, and it would be easier to put her and another Deluxe class Windblade together and have them do the dance like the Rockettes do, but I'm not going to waste money just for that. Besides, they'd probably fall over if I tried it; and I'd need at least one more collector to help me with that.

Well, the Walmart nearest my work has done their Fall reset... and cut the action figure aisle down by about 1/3 of its original size. And in doing so they made further cuts to the Transformers section.

Now along with already removing Titan Masters they've now also removed all-
-Titans Return Legends
-TLK Legions
-RID Legions

So basically they've stopped carrying the smallest normal figure lines. Only two TR figures in stock were Sky Shadow and Six Shot. Still no TLK wave 2 anything (and may never be since the former end cap display is now piled up on the top shelf) or RID Bludgeon wave.

Gonna have to go online for Seaspray and Ramhorn I think. :(

The last time I saw that topic on my mobile phone and saw the topic, I said to myself it depends on how much of a changeable robot a holic a personal is. It's not a big sin to get interested in those things, but I try not to be guilty of idolizing them. I might as well go ahead and tell you that I saw the rest of those TTC Transformers at the Target in Orange City. It would be kind of cool to be enlisted in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most Transformers, but I don't know how to transform the ones I have now, and I don't know what I'd with all them. I was looking at a list and going through it and transforming one after the other while getting through the rest to watch an episode of The Simpsons or bigger ones for shows that are longer and was starting to experience burn out there, so I just use Autobot Hound for all of them. If I could pay Hasbro enough money to give me a custom made Decepticon Hound that turns into a dog and is as easy to transform as Autobot Hound, I would. My Shadow Grimlock isn't all that hard, but he's got a tendency to fall apart on me, and then I have to take the time to put him back together. Normally, I'm against it; but I wish they could come out with a one step evil Transformer Hound with a life long warranty on it so Hasbro would have to replace it no matter how many incarnations they produced in the future to make the one you have a vintage or obsolete figure.

That one sentence in bold is the only thing you posted in that whole rambling paragraph that was even close to being on-topic.

I'm in Colorado, and the stores in my area just started getting TLK wave 2 last week. Voyager Megatron and Hound and the two leaders started popping up. Have yet to see wave 2 deluxes, all the stores are still clogged with Berserker and Slash.

Genuinely starting to worry if the later waves are ever going to show up here or if we're going to have a repeat of DotM where the later waves were just cancelled. Seeing a lot of similarities to that time (Crappy molds no one wanted from wave 1 warming shelves long after the movie released being the biggest one). I BETTER see a Cogman in stores, Hasbro, I'm not having a repeat of deluxe Leadfoot, dammit!

My TRU looked nice except all he leader figures from all lines are sold out. Still, I am sure a store doesnt mind when their priciest class which occupies the most shelf space is the one that needs restocking.

Heh, no Overlord, no wave 2 anything TLK, heck we're not even that far in the RiD line with the crash combiners.

And by the way, around here, they are still the same wave 1 TLK toys, with 15 of them still sitting on the top shelf ready to be put on pegs that will not empty

So I checked Walmart and Target locally and there are literally like maybe a dozen transformers from various lines on the shelf and that's it. I don't think they are going to add anything new.

So jealous guys. My Newport News, VA toysrus has 85% star wars crap..and 3% Transformers 2% TMNT 9% Marvel-DC And 1% other.

Pitiful...

Can't stand new Star wars, it's lost its luster and has become ubiquitous. But the Movieverse, G-1 and IDW are a fantastic alternative. The ONLY alternative that matters really. Always new and exciting. Always transforming into something new and amazing.

Everything from wave 5 is now gone from my local stores, leaving wave 3 stuff. Oh and my store must have gotten one of the final wave voyager repacks for TR cause Broadside and Megatron were sitting there and they were not there 2 days ago.

About 5 of the movie deluxes moved too. And Scorn and Nitro and the wave 2 1-steps showed up as well. So at least we finally got some movie movement for the first time in forever

I was very happy today as both Target and TRU had figures I've been waiting for. Found TLK Leader Class Megatron and Dragonstorm. Dragonstorm must have just been released locally as I've yet to see any and I do a lot of driving for work so I have the luxury of stopping by a ton of stores. The Megatron I've seen once before and went back around pay day and he was gone. Also got the TR Octone at Target. Was flipping a coin in my mind over getting him or Blitzwing and decided on Octone although I may get Blitzwing this weekend if he is still there.
