Scottimus Prime has pointed out to us that facebook user Khoi Nyguyen has sighted this new 2-pack. The photo from facebook tells us that this photo was taken in Escondido, California. We already know from a previous reveal that the Mission To Cybertron Deluxe Optimus Prime 2-pack is a ToysRus exclusive.

If you see any cool new figures are popping up at stores near you, use the sightings section to keep everyone posted!

is he made up of the Legends size botmonsters?
or...

Does anyone have definitive answer

Minor flaws aside (no wrists, and could use better knee articulation), yeah, i agree. It's a great toy, and also the first toy we have of this design in the voyager scale.

Only the Voyager Optimus mold is truly new for The last Knight when it comes to Optimus toys.

The one-step turbo changer is not a completely new mold, along that Bee and Grimlock?

Those super elongated 4-steps are just horrible. At least, unlike the shampoo bottles, they do transform. Unfortunately those proportions are unsalvageable, even with paint.

Oof, done catching up with all those exclusive redecos and retools. Good grief! 8-}

So Walmart has "Autobots Unite" and Toys 'R Us has "Mission to Cybertron", correct? Kinda sad that Hot Rod is a retool of Lockdown in almost all incarnations and mostly exclusive to Walmart. He's the Stinger of TLK :lol:

Did you say mostly because there is that non exclusive Tiny Turbo changer? :lol:

And yeah, he is totally the Stinger (which was also a BB inspired bot) but at least we are getting a deluxe here. And plus, the legion is not lockdown but one of the good DOTM legion molds Kanrabat raves about.

I'll have to disagree, I checked it and no details match. The transformation is the same aside from the arms, but as far as I can see, it's all-new.

I think so too. It's not because the transformation is the same that it's the same mold.

I asked this back in page 119, but was not really satisfied with that answer.

Looking over both molds it looks like the transformation is very very similar, but everything else is different.

If it is a retool, its so extensive, it may as well just be a new mold.

Yep similar transformation, all new parts. There's only so many ways you can make a converting car robot that small anyway.

Just a quick PSA: I've updated the site's Sightings section (and therefore the Vector Sigma Database as well, but don't expect bios and such. It's years behind in that regard.) with all the newly revealed stuff, seeing how it's already trickling out: https://www.seibertron.com/sightings/in ... -knight238
