Anyhow, I am just starting to collect, currently I have the Original 6 Seekers Henkei Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp and Takara Tomy Seekers Elite Box Set (Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge). Now my goal (I know I am a little crazy), it's to collect Season 1,2,3,4 Autobots and Decepticons CHUG / Titans Return, not to fond on Combiner Warsand G1 Combiners (Devy, Bruticus, Menasor, Superion, Computron). To all the collectors out there, is collecting CHUG/Titans Return Season 1,2,3,4 both Autobots and Decepticons attainable? I am also looking at filling the gaps with some 3rd party figures.

I am currently selling some figures, in order to make room for newer ones (Henkei),

I'm confused though, you're selling your Henkei Seekers? for what, in favor of the Asia 3-pack?

Hey dude, let me start by saying that we share the same dream.

I've been working on this kind of thing since 2006. Building the best Classics collection is my favorite part of the hobby. If you're willing to put in the time and money, almost everything you could want is out there, probably in the 85%+ range up through Victory.

There are a couple of issues you'll run into, mostly related to compatible scale and what's right for you. You'll also find that a few characters have numerous, inadequate choices for a particular roster spot, so you'll just have to make a call and be prepared to buy another figure down the line.

I left out a few of the more obscure shelves with things like Machine Wars or G2.

I'm doing Season 1 -> the movie and there's just a few TFs that aren't obtainable just yet. Mainly an acceptable Tripticon to match up with Titan Metroplex and that's coming thanks to the fan vote a ways back!

The only other figures where I'm a bit "ho hum" on are Moonracer, Firestar, and Dion. They all have Club versions, but those versions aren't that great. Although they do exist! Personally, I've given up waiting for better versions of those guys coming from anyone.

Protip: If you're in for deluxe "minibots" Cubex's Huff and Xtransbot's Boost make good deluze-ish Huffer and Windcharger representations, even though they are pricy. I dunno exactly how you are with your scale.

Get ready to shell out some dough, though! This is one costly journey.

You shouldn't have too much of a problem finding every character, but I imagine it will cost an enormous amount, so I'd advise you look on a number of sites and shop around for the best deals. When it comes to my personal CHUG collection, I usually only go for characters I like or know a lot about, so I'm not majorly fussed about owning every single Autobot and Decepticon from every season of G1. I'll be skipping the Titans Return Deluxes for the most part because of this, the only Autobots I plan to get are Hardhead and the upcoming Hot Rod, and I'll be getting Skullcruncher, Mindwipe and Weirdwolf mostly because I'm a sucker for beast modes.
