I just got the BW Airrazor and I'm concerned by the shiny looking plastic. Does this mean she will eventually suffer from GPS/BPS? If so, how could I prevent or at least postpone it?

No, the plastic on AirRazor is not the GPS/BPS type as far as I know.
GPS/BPS type plastic is swirly, and glossy. Look at Randy, and TM Megatron's Plastic.

TM Megatron is actually up for debate as a candidate, what both parties do agree on is that it's a combination of weak(er) plastics and the waist joint. The Japanese and Armada release have no such problem.
Speaking of which, people have noted the shiny plastic of the Titans Return figures and say they'll possibly go the same way. Two things:
1) Hasbro claims to have fixed the problem through trial-and-error in reducing the amount of metallic flake in the plastic. The result: the youngest victim, Movie Protoform Starscream, is almost 10 years old by now, plus the casualty rate has been lower than ever. Plus, CW G2 Slingshot is stated not to suffer from it like his inspiration did.
2) So far, it has only appeared in gold-like colored plastic, including bronze. For some freaky reason, other colors seem to either be immune or hold together better for longer. For example, the Japanese version of RiD 2001 Optimus Prime, Car Robots Fire Convoy, has metallic flake in its plastic, yet I've seen no reports of any of them breaking at this time.

Anyone tried that microwelding Bondic stuff for GPS? It looks like a crap ASOTV junk product but having another repair option would be neat.
