Women and Transfomers(Warning: Male Chauvenism Within)

Question for all you single-guys in your 20's and 30's, have you noticed at all the cute gals and hot moms shopping for TFs lately?

In SE Michigan, it's like a beauty bomb went off...because every other store I go into has at least one lovely perusing the TF section. Might want to keep a look out for that.

I have had sundry solicitations for advice(once they realize I'm a collector), and have been complimented, thanked, and even hit on! All this within about a week and a half.

Yeah I'm suave like that. :-B

Even the quasi-goth manager of my local comic shop(quite the desirable); her face lit up the second that I asked her about the movie, and she went on and on for half-an-hour easily.

Say that the movie hype sucks, whatever. But my stock just went up a couple of notches.

Man, I hope you're right. I would think that my perusing of TFs would be repelling to the fairer sex...unless they thought I was buying it for a kid or something... :-? I'll have to say that if asked..hehehe...

I get women who walk up to me and say something like "You have a son who likes Transformers, which one is good?" I don't bother saying I'm shopping for MYSELF.

The only hot chick I have seen shopping for Transformers was my girlfriend who was with me when I was shopping :)

they need to transform themselves back into stoves and washing machines and bake us some more pies and wash our clothes.

I never even saw anyone buying a Transformer.

Some have moved at the local store, so it must've happened... But I've never seen it happen.

So we should keep our eyes on the TF and our hands on the girl? I like where this is going. Giggity.

No.

Seconded. Not here in Austin, Texas...land of land-whales with 6 or more children out-of-wedlock, slathered with tattoos and the funny sense of entitlement thing going on.

If it happened to you Insurgent, then good for you. But it is not happening here.

The last female I helped in the toy aisle with a TF-related question was some kid's 65+ -year-old grandma. And NO, she wasn't hot.

Perv.

I wish it did happen to me. The closest was a cute lass working behind the till when I got one of the Escalations. We spent about 10 mins talking bout the movie.

Woolies is just full of old women with prams. I tend to avoid woolies.

FP has more people my age (as well as the older collector) but they are all with boyfriends or too young. Or dressed as Goths. With Goth boyfriends

Brother I know what you're talking about. When I got looking for TFs I've noticed a couple of "yummy mummies" shoping for their kids and end up flat out asking for my number because "they want help shoping for their kid next time" MILFs aren't my cup of tea, but any hot chick with a sense of culture knows about Transformers and 90% have found it a cute or flat out attractive hobby. The new hot broad at work thinks it's cute that I bought the legends figures to keep by my desk at work and asked me if I would go see the movie again with her (her and I have seen it on seperate occations, but she wanted to go with me so I could point her out all the nerdy stuff she might have missed.

So yes, I see your point.

The other day at HMV there was a cute punk girl at the counter was asking me if I'd seen the movie. I was dressed in my work clothes, so I wouldn't especially look like a fan or something. She had seen it, she was going on about how much she loved it. I don't know what it was about...

BTW, if any of you in Mississauga area see a girl picking through it might be my sister. She goes shopping every Saturday so if I haven't found something I know is out, I give her a list of what to look for. BTW, she's married. :)

Punk girls can be so hot...provided they are not tattooed up like some faddish billboard and don't have piercings haphazardly placed anywhere they can hang.

Yeah, punk girls...a perfect part of a balanced breakfast.

Can't say I've seen many people buying TFs at the same time as me... no children, no parents, no good looking girls...
