What would you like the third part of the Generations Prime Wars trilogy to be?

We've had Combiner Wars, we're getting Titans Return right now, but Hasbro has said that current Generations toys are all under the "Prime Wars Trilogy" umbrella, so a third line is coming presumably 2018 once the Titans Return and Last Knight lines have ended. With Titans Return focusing on Headmasters and Combiner Wars focusing on Scramble City combining, what past gimmick do you think or hope the third part of Prime Wars will see the return of? I've heard a lot of fans say they want Targetmasters to follow up on the Headmasters. I personally would like to see the return of Armada-style Mini-Cons, but I'm uncertain about it because the Robots in Disguise line was Mini-Con heavy.

I want to see a modern take on Pretenders.

Knowing our luck though we'll get Action Masters.

I honestly don't think they'll do a new gimmick. I think, and hope, that they just finish the main combiners and give the headmaster juniors bodies.

I'm hoping for beasts myself. That way we get the beast combiners and Dinobots which almost everyone, including me, want. Also we could get some Beast Wars updates/homages which I'd really like. In addition this could be a good way to make new characters.

New Combiners and Headmasters but each now paired with a Targetmaster.

I would like to see Pretenders or Micromasters.

I think a really cool idea for Pretenders would be a core transforming robot with a "shell" made out of multiple pieces of armor that could attach to bulk up either the bot or alt mode.

Micromasters as a new take on the Armada play pattern would be very welcome too.

What I think will happen...

Beasts.

Combiner Wars, Titans Return, "Beast Wars"

My bet on it all. Especially with Onyx Prime being blah blahed about in the comics.

This would be the ideal scenario for me. I said Mini-Cons in my original post largely because I think it would follow on nicely from Titanmasters. Beasts would certainly be nice though, it would be a good excuse to finally do the other Dinobots and Predaking, and I'd still love to have Deluxe Cheetor and Tigatron that are of the same level of quality as Thrilling 30 Rattrap and Waspinator.

On top of the Onyx Prime references in IDW, it would be easy to do a Beast-themed crossover event centered around Eukaris. Tigatron and Airazor haven't really done all that much since they joined The Council of Worlds, while Cheetor, Dinobot and Blackarachnia were little more than fan-service cameos in the Windblade comic, so it would be great to have a storyline set on Eukaris where they have more to do. They could even use the Beast theme to bring back Tarantulas and the Mayhem Attack Squad if they wanted.

I keep hearing rumors that beast combiners are in the works. Not to mention the pending Trypticon, who might serve as the "Titan" for all the beasties out there. >:oP

FUZORS! Don't just limit it to beasts, make fuzor vehicles!

Hell, go for something like the old Micromaster Combiners. Every alt splits into two and can be re-combined with everything else. EVERYTHING else. You want a wasp butt with rocket engines you got it!

Though I kinda half expect it to just be the same thing again, like a wave of combiners followed by a wave of titans, and repeat....

How to account for the Overlord / Duocon teaser from BotCon though? If that is a 2017 release, it should feed into the next part of the Prime Wars, right? Unless it's an almost standalone figure, like the Thrilling 30 or similar, of course, and not tied into the multimedia fiction.. :-?

Pretenders? Micromasters? Armada minicon style gimmicks? Energon style combinations? Cyberton cyberkey style gimmicks?

Anything but Action Masters, please. I like Transformers that transform.

I'm guessing that would be a Leader in wave 4 or 5 of Titans Return. If it is Overlord and he still has the G1 toy's base mode, it would fit well with the theme of the leaders having base modes that are compatible with Titanmasters.
